Training because I can, sort of (private to red)

Daisy walked into the arena in training gear. Her sword, Day lily, was at her side along with some confidence. Daisy didn't bother to train much, but now realized what a mistake that was. She had gotten lucky at the fields and didn't want that again. Hearing a rustle behind her Daisy turned around sword ready. "Kale?" she asked.

Kale smiled once Daisy saw him. "Hey," he said warmly, while pushing Daisy's sword down with his own sword, Ekanowen. "Glad to see you too, Beautiful." Kale was wearing some armor, but not much, that was just the way he liked it. Kale noticed that Daisy looked ready for some trainig. "You training?" he asked.

Daisy smiled and nodded. When Kale asked if she was training her response was a shrug. "I suppose. I can try new things right?" Daisy remarked with a smirk. Her green eyes looked down at her own sword which seemed like a unknown object.

Kale raised an eyebrow. "New?" he asked somewhat amused. "Well, by the way you killed that fury at the fields, it shocks me that you're relatively “new” to this." Kale smiled, as he wiped some sweat from his brow. "You want me to train with you?" he asked.

Daisy smiled. "I was being sarcastic."she replied. Daisy's face lit up when Kale asked to train with her. "Yeah that would be great!" she said smiling. Daisy looked back at her sword and sighed. "I need all the help I can get..." she mumbled to herself.

Kale smiled at Daisy, glad that she accepted her offer, instead of rejecting it. "Come and follow me then," he said. Kale led them over to where there was a row of dummies. Once Kale was in front of the dummies, he faced Daisy. "Attack one of them," he said simply.

Daisy looked at Kale with a confused expression and shrugged it off. She didn't want to look like a total idoit, not in front of Kale. "Okay..." Daisy said. She gripped her sword and slashed at the poor dummies head. The dummy sort-pf struck back. Daisy nearly missed the fake sword and stabbed the dummy's back.

Kale watched intently as Daisy stabbed at the dummy. He noticed that she wasn't bad at all, in fact she was rather good. Though there were a few small things. "Daisy, you're pretty good," he said, smiling. "The only thing, is to not stiffen your arm too much and think more about how you think you opponent will react and use it to your advantage."

Daisy nodded. "Thanks, I'm not that great. Ever seen an Ares or an Athena kid attack a dummy? I would hate to be that dummy..." she replied.Back to work, not making myself look like an idoit, she thought. Daisy walked over to another dummy and sliced it's side. After the dummy swung back at her she was able to kick it's sword away. Leaving the dummy weaponless Daisy pointed her sword at the dummy's throat. "Better?" she asked innocently.

Kale smiled. "Perfect," he nodded. "And I agree. If they could choose those poor dummies wouldn't want to be against an Athena or Ares kid." He chuckled slightly then unsheathed his sword Ekanowen. Turning to Daisy, he got into a simple stance, signaling that he wanted her to attack him.

Daisy looked at Kale with wide eyes. "I can't attack you. I- that wouldn't be right. I mean -no. I don't want to hurt you... not like you'll let me, but still..." she trailed on. Day lily stayed at her side through the whole speech.

Kale's eyes softened. He dropped Ekanowen to his side and walked towards Daisy. He put a hand on her shoulder comfortingly. "Come on, it's just for training." Kale thought about something then said, "What would you do if I told ya that I accidentally ran over your garden in the strawberry fields?"

Daisy rolled her green eyes. "You don't even know which one is mine." she said sticking out her tounge. Daisy smiled, considering fighting Kale then rejecting the thought.

Kale suddenly realized that he didn't know which one was Daisy's. "I knew all of the gardens weren't yours!" he exclaimed quietly to himself. Then he looked at Daisy and smiled warmly. "Come on, just a quick minute spar?"

Daisy angled her head up in the air and sighed. "Fine!" she said tightening her grip on Day lily.Don't hurt him, no matter what you do don't! a voice in her head chanted."Uh you go first..." Daisy said getting into a defensive stance.

Kale smiled as he gripped Ekanowen. "Don't worry, you'll do fine," he assured. "I should be worried about myself actually. Now, don't hold back." Quickly, Kale took a step to the right of Daisy and swung his sword toward her head.

Daisy ducked and took a swipe at Kale's leg. She was more relived that she didn't get a sword to the head. "How was that?" Daisy asked with a small smile.

Kale jumped over Daisy's sword, but almost lost his balance. Standing on his heels, he leander back as far as he could until he regained balance. One he did, he smiled at Daisy. "Perfect," he said approvingly. "Now, you attack."

Daisy sighed and thought of what in the world to do. She slashed her sword at Kale's chest and spun around. Daisy ended up behind Kale.

Kale blocked Day Lily wih Ekanowen and side stepped so the he ended up facing Daisy. He smiled at her and said, "Let's see your reflexes." With that Kale suddenly ran at her swinging his sword at her feet.

Daisy waited for Kale's attack. She dodged his sword with a jump but came back down to get slashed in the ankle. Daisy winced but still stood. "Okay so my reflexes suck..." she said.

Kale instantly dropped Ekanowen. "Oh my gods, I'm sorry Daisy," he said helping her stand by letting her arm go around his neck. "Come on," he said as he led them to a bench.

Daisy looked at Kale and sighed. "I'm fine... sort of." she said glancing at her ankle. Blood stained her skin and it hurt like heck. Daisy took a seat on the bech and propped her ankle up.

Kale frowned. "I'm so sorry Daisy," he said guitily. He walked over to his backpack and grabbed a canteen of Nectar. Walking back to the bench, he handed it to Daisy. "That should help," he said.

Daisy took a sip of the nectar. "It wasn't your fault! I wasn't quick enough." she said. Daisy sighed and looked back at her cut, glad to see the bleeding stopped.
