A Warm Night for a Picnic (Private to Bluemoon)

Daisy nodded. "I'm starved." she said. Daisy began to get up to walk over to Kale, but found it very tiring. "I really need to train more, I'm out of shape." she said sitting next to Kale.

{GAH! Sorry, spellcheck. I meant chicken... I have GOT to find out how to turn the spellcheck off...}

Kale smiled at her, while handing her a plate of chicken. "Well, I'd be more than glad to help with your training," he said. "You want some soda?"

"London, hence my accent." she said smiling. Daisy smiled brightly. "It's so far away, sometimes I don't even remember it." she said frowning slightly.

"I thought so," he said, smiling. "And London isn't that far. It's just across the Big Pond. At least it isn't as far as Russia is. Some of my cousins live there."

Daisy looked at Kale with a confused grin. "What? Russia? No way. You're making that up." she said taking a sip of rootbeer. "And that 'Big Pond' happens to be an ocean." Daisy said smiling.

{I do, but sometimes I just can't find the right pic. *shrugs*}

Kale smiled. "No joke," he said honestly. "My mom's sister's husband is from Russia so they moved there. And I know it's an Ocean. The Big Pond is what Amelia Earhart calls the Atlantic."

Daisy stopped smiling. "Oh right I totally knew that." she said quietly. Music filled her ears, she remembered hearing something about a party. "I wonder of the people on the beach are having fun..." Daisy muttered quietly.
