I still sat back in the trees quietly listening to the conversation of the two. From the looks of it, Jake wanted to have Thalia, but she did not want him. I watched as Jake was still in the form of a wolf-beast and gently layed his head in her lap. I looked at Thalia who was still scared, and had fear in her eyes still once more. I silently grabbed my dagger off of my thigh and walked towards them. "Jake, just leave Thalia alone." I said as gripping my dagger in my hand.

I was starting to feel sorry for Jake. When he layed his head in my lap, I gently petted his head. I was still afraid but not of him. I sensed something dangerous near by. Kaite came out of the shadows with a dagger and told Jake to just leave me alone. I knew she wasn't what I had sensed. I saw a movement in the shadows and I tensed. Suddenly seven darts came out of the shadows and headed straight for me.

I wagged my tail as she petted me. I could tell she was afraid. But something told she wasn't afraid of me. Kaite came out of the shadows with her dagger raised. I growled when she told me to leave Thalia alone. I felt Thalia tense and looked up. Seven darts came out of the shadows towrd her. I jumped in front of her and protected her. As the darts hit my side, I dropped. I faintly heard Thalia yell "Jake, no!!"

"Oh crap.." I said rolling my eyes slightly. I muttered something in Greek and appeared behind three guys in black. I stabbed them three in the back. I softly walked towards the other two panting. "That's why I told Jake to let you go. Because I had known they were here. This wouldn't have happened if he didn't listen." I muttered to myself. I watched as Jake had turn back into his human form. I carefully raised him and had him on my back. "Oh my gosh. He's heavy." I said to myself. I slowly walked and turned around to see Thalia still sitting. "C'mon Thalia. Let's get back to camp.." I said with a sly smile.

I got up and started to walk toward her. I started to become woozy. I gripped a tree for balance. My vision started to blur. “I can’t see. I don’t feel so we-” Then I collapsed. My eyes closed. Turns out one of the darts had gotten to my side. My last thought was this: If the darts made Jake turn back to his human form, what is it going to do to me? Suddenly, ears appeared on my head and a tail from my back. I quickly opened my eyes and they were red.

I watched as Thalia had grown into the same beast as Jake. "Thalia, I know you can hear me." I said as getting another better grip on Jake. "Just calm down. Don't do anything. Just let me take the arrow out of your hip." I said closing into her. I had my hands up to show her that I wasn't going to do anything. I listened closely as she started to growl at me. "Thalia, please just calm down. I don't want to hurt you." I quickly snapped in Wolf Tongue, knowing definitely she could understand me.

I growled again. She said she wasn't going to hurt me but I didn't believe her. I started to limp backwards. I raised my head and howled. I watched as the Kaite went flying. I saw another movement and suddenly I was surrounded by men in black suites. They had guns and were pointing them at me. I snapped at them and growled. Leave me alone!, I thought to them.

I landed on something soft. I looked down at me to find myself on the back on Truler. He had already taken Hunter back to the camp, I noticed. Behind me I found Millin, running. "Kaitlyn!" I heard in the distance behind me. But I ignored it and sprinted towards Thalia. I felt the presence of other people around me. I looked everywhere in the night. I climbed a tree and grabbed my bronze bow. I watched below me as Truler had quietly creeped behind Thalia. I slowly took three arrows out and slipped it into my bow. I quietly pulled back and aimed towards the seven figures.

I snapped at one who had ventured a little closer. I jumped on him and suddenly I was bleeding. I looked at my side and a dagger was plunged in it, blue smoke emerging from my wound. I dropped and started to shake. I was soon in my human form shaking and very pale. "Hun-....hu-....wolf....hun-...ter-..." I managed to get out.

I watched as Thalia had launched herself at a dark figure. "No!" I yelled I released my three arrows and watched as the entered three figure's back. I jumped down from the tree, and muttered for my bronze spear. I layed my bow against my chest and ran towards Thalia. "Shoot.." I muttered. "Truler!" I yelled and watched as Truler stood in front of me, not letting any dark figures coming near me or Thalia. I fell down on my knee, and touched her wound. "It's poison. This is not my experience.." I whispered to myself. "Kaitlyn!" I heard to my right and found Devin and Hunter running towards me. I watched as Hunter cluctched his chest. "You alright?" I asked with nervous in my voice. "Yeah, I just needed some light, that's all." Hunter said to me. I watched as he knelted down beside Thalia.

I stopped shaking and grabbed Kaite's arm in a death grip. "Go.....h-h-help Jake. Tell O-o-o-odie I love him and I am...s-s-sorry." To put me out of my misery, I raised Lightstriker, my sword, and punged it in my heart. My hand slowly dropped from her arm as the life left me.

(Whoa!! Did not see that coming!!)

"No!" I yelled as Thalia grabbed her own sword. Tears were forming on my cheeks. I looked over at my brother who was still lying on the ground just a few meters away from me. I carefully got up and walked to my brother lying on the ground. My face was full of dirt, sadness, tired, hate, and tears. I carefully picked my brother up and watched as Truler had Thalia on his shoulders. And the four figures of us, all walked back to camp.

Seeing Thalia lying on truler's back with Lightstriker in her, I started crying. I had been healed and was helping Solania. I ran to her and picked her up off Truler. I sat her down and started to shake her. "Thalia! Thalia, please!!" I screamed sobbing.

I watched with tears in my eyes as Liz ran to Thalia and held her in her arms. Cal walked over to me and smiled slightly. "I tried the best I could.." I said looking down at the ground. I slowly and carefully let my brother down with his back against a tree. "Hunter!" I called out quietly. I watched as he came over and started to heal my brother. I slowly walked over to a tree and sat down. I wrapped my arms around me knees and dropped my head crying. It's my fault, I kept thinking to myself.
