Jasey saw the girl flying in mid-air. He knew he had lost the battle at this rate but he wouldn't give up unless Zia beat's him. Jasey was thinking for a plan. There was nothing he could do. The girl was well trained and is a very talented swordsman.

Jasey then smiled and said, "Are we playing powers now?" He thought that the girl was cheating as she was using powers and not swordplay. Jasey has powers but he seldom uses it not knowing what might happen.

Zia looked at her opponent with frustration. Her, cheating? No way, she was much more subtle than that. She always has to win fair and square in a duel. Other than that, she was oblivious to the powers she had. Zia was still unclaimed. "I'd never do that," she retorted with animosity. Her temper was overcoming her now, so she had to restrain herself more than ever. She didn't want anything drastic to occur, like the death of her mother six years ago.

Jasey was still unhappy seeing that Zia was using powers. He tends to fight fairly. This is a sword battle not a power battle. He could be easily beaten and Jasey does not go down that easy without a fight. "If what you say is true, don't you ought of get back on the ground?" Jasey said being sarcastic.

"I am on the ground," Zia replied, annoyed at the fact that Jasey was insisting she was cheating in a sword match. Although, part of her was lost in thought. How did she do that, anyway? That had never happened before in all the years she's been at camp. "It seems you've forgotten something. I am unclaimed. I don't even know who my father is."

Jasey knew her god parent must be cold and strong. "Probably Ares" Jasey said. Jasey didn't feel like continuing the fight after what had happen. The fight was haywire now. "You want to continue?" Jasey asked with a with a smile hoping she would back down just this one time.

Zia, suprisingly, didn't wish to resume the fight. There were times that she could be mean and ruthless, but she does have a big heart. With her temper arising, she didn't want to end up hurting Jasey. "Let's take a break," she said. "I'll kill you later." Zia gave Jasey a soft smile, and then put away her sword.

Jasey was happy that Zia had wanted to take a break. He was exhausted. Jasey took his water bottle from his backpack and started gulping down the water. When he finished drinking, he looked into Zia's eyes and smiled.

Zia took out her water bottle, and took a swig. Her eyes averted themselves from Jasey, as they noticed the boy looking at them. She wanted to ensure herself victory in the duel, so Zia prevented herself from showing any emotion that could prove fatal. Although, battle wasn't the only thing that was on the girl's mind.

The young demigod gazed down at the ground, lost in her thoughts. What had happened to her? How did she do what she just did? Was she even the one that did it? Zia didn't know what to believe, but she could
tell that she would find out soon enough.

Jasey's eyes looked away. He was kinda not liking the girls attitude. She was beautiful and all but she was cold. he though. Jasey knew she would win the fight fair and square. She wasn't claimed. So, maybe her god parent must be very powerful.

Not knowing what to do, Jasey asked the girl a couple of questions. His first question was "Where are you from?" Jasey was eighty percent sure the girl wouldn't answer the question.

Zia looked up at Jasey, her bright, blue eyes focusing on his. He asked where she was from, but she didn't throw a fit about the question. Instead, she became depressed; her past was too painful to talk about. Her mother had died because of her, even though it wasn't Zia's fault. "I'm from . . . Los Angeles," she said softly, "California."

Zia directed her gaze to the sky, closing her eyes and taking in the crisp breeze of the afternoon. She could feel the sun englufing her skin with its warming heat. The teenager thought of her past, and regreted doing so. It was about time she moved on, but she just couldn't. Forgeting such a tragedy had always been difficult for Zia, and she always showed a great amount of remorse. Come on Zia, forget it. Move on.

~Sorry for short post kinda sad of something... just ask me something when your turn~ Jasey hated seeing people suffer in pain and he knew that Zia was in pain of something. Just not knowing what it was. Jasey turned and took his water bottle from his backpack and drank the water for the second time until the water from the water bottle was finished.

"So where are you from?" Zia asked, her eyes focusing on Jasey. She felt a little awkward around the son of Apollo. After the way she acted, she probably embarrassed herself completely. With that, she didn't say another word, and waited for the boy's reply.

Jasey was happy that the girl had asked him a question. He wanted to lighten up the mood. "I'm from Manhattan." Jasey said with a broad smile. His eyes fixed upon hers waiting for her to say something.

I was looking through the weapon rack. Not until I saw two older looking teenagers fighter sword against sword. Days it felt but only hours I watched them fight against each other. Not until the boy hit had kicked the girl in her knee. She fell and I watched as the boy had victory to himself. Then I saw another girl come over and say something I couldn't hear and left. About a minute later I watched as another girl approached them and froze. I walked on over. As I was getting closer I realized it was my half-brother. "Hey Jasey! Saw that trick you pulled on Ari. Nice." I said as giving him a wink. I quickly noticed that I hadn't introduced myself to the frozen girl. "Um.. Hi! I'm Hunter Blake. And who are you?"I asked. A minute passed on. I asked Jasey," How are you doing there brother from that 3 hour fight you had with sister?"

Jasey gazed upon the grassy surface. It was like heaven to him. His hair was moving because of the breeze of the wind. After a few minutes, a boys figure came in focus it was his half brother Blake. He was quite tall and bulky for his age. Once Blake's figure was just in front of him he had asked Jasey a question. Jasey replied with a sigh, "Um.. it was okay how bout you?"

Ari jumped stood up where she was sitting and walked over to where Jasey and Zia were. "That was one good match," she smiled at them. "I'm not much with swords, even if I know some moves, but I prefer long ranged weapons. Including guns." Ari stopped herself before she started to ramble and then she looked over at Zia. "I'm Ari by the way."

"Zia Merwood," Zia replied with a nod of her head. As she spoke, she put away her celestial bronze sword. By now, sweat plastered the teenager's face. Her hair was slightly tangled, as well. Zia almost looked like she had been doing this everyday. "Unclaimed."

The breeze from the wind blew Jasey's hair. He fixed his hair and focused at the two not wanting to talk much because he had no water left to drink. He just smiled all the way thinking about the future. He wanted to be known a hero not just the Apollo kid who sings. He kind of felt ashamed being a child of Apollo. He then cleared his mind and gazed upon the grass which were being blown away by the wind.

"Unclaimed?" Ari asked Zia, while studying her face. "Well, you shouldn't worry, I'm sure your god parent might claim you soon." Ari looked over at Jasey, who was gazing at the grass. I wonder what's on his mind, Ari wondered. "What'cha thinking, bro?"

Zia simply nodded her head, but that didn't stop her from having doubts. What if she was never claimed? What if her father didn't care about her? She had been at camp for six years, and there was no sign of who her divine parent was. Could it be possible that the way she floated when she was falling lead to something? Maybe, but Zia wasn't quite sure. "Yeah, maybe."

Jasey who was still focusing on the grass suddenly realized that Ari had asked him a question. "Nothing" Jasey said. He hated lying but sometimes he just has to. Then, he looked at Zia who was still sad and said, "What do you want to do now?"

"Don't worry, you'll get claimed," Ari told Zia, having a feeling that Zia really would get claimed. "I'm positive." Then she turned to Jasey, "I'm not exactly sure I believe you." With that said, Ari looked back and forth between Jasey and Zia, thinking about what she could do to get these two smiling. Ideas zipped through her head, but nothing seemed to come. Her thinking face was on, which made it a little obvious that she was wondering what to do. Ari plopped down on the ground, crossed her legs, and continued to think. After about three minutes she smiled, "How about we have a little competition!" Then she frowned. "But what about?"
