Yawning, Odysseus realized how tired he was. He had after all been late to the Barbecue because of lack of sleep. He sighed, and stood up.

Odysseus grinned, looked at Blake, and said,"Hey, man, you must excuse me. I'm really tired, can we continue our conversation at another time?"

As he started to leave, he turned, and said,"I'm glad you are friends with Thalia. It makes her happy to have a friend like you."

Cole looked over at Aria. "Don't worry," he said reassuringly, putting an arm around her. "And don't forget, all you have to do is IM me or even just yell my name, I'll be there to help ya fight." Cole looked at her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "When exactly does this combat mission start?"

" In two days we leave camp " I say, I didn't like the the whole war thing, both sides were fighting for power, one wanted power and the other was trying to keep its power, both sides were wrong

"Come on, Aria," he said with a fake pout. "Can we forget bout that, just for tonight?" Cole poked Aria's arm and an idea popped into his head, but he won't ask her... Just yet.

" I guess maybe the climbing wall, its pretty cool " I say absentmindedly, I hadn't been there in a while so I was going to have to try to go before we left for the mission.

Cole smiled. He knew a little place just behind the rock climbing wall... "Yeah, the rock climbing wall is awesome. Just as long as no one gets burned."

" Its super easy to avoid getting burned you just have to get the hang of it " I say giggling. The climbing wall was fun, there weren't a lot of people there and it was fun to reach the top and know that you made it.

Cole shrugged. "I've always preferred the Arena the most," he smiled at Aria. "The last time I was up on the climbing wall, I almost got my arm burned, but I reached the top."

I walk in with Euri. "Here we are!" I said. I dived into the lake.

I walked over to my twin. "Hey, Bly" I said.

I rubbed my head. I felt like I might throw up. "Next time can we just walk?" I looked into the lake and saw Blythe.

"The more you do it," I said to Euri,"The less sick you get. And besides, it only happens if I teleport into a place without a door already built in." I looked at Euri. "Do you get that?" I swam around, my clothes turning into a swimsuit in the water. I whistled, and Rufus, my white lab, came bounding into the lake.

I played fetch with Ruf, me and Bly taking turns tossing the ball. "Find me." I murmured to Ruf. I disappear into the middle of the lake. Rufus sniffed me out in 5 seconds and swam after me. I let out a soft hiss, and Coryn, my Barn Owl, flew to his lakeside perch, taking in everything with his acute eyesight and hearing. I left my twin with her long lost friend, blue streaks glowing softly.

I walked to the campfire and sat down. I hated not getting what I want. If I didn't find her fast I was going to be in big trouble. I sighed and stared into the flames.

I walk up to the barbecue, grab a burger and sit down by the lake, munching on it silently. The food was always really good at these things. I see some campers playing with a dog out in the lake, so I begin to walk over there to see if I can start a conversation with anyone.

The smell of food brought me over to the lake without me noticing. I pick up and dress a hot-dog, and walk around talking with random people, until I find myself down on the lakefront. I stare out at it, remembering my home. Not because they are the same, but because they are the exact opposite. I grew up on the plains, and miss them dearly, mostly because everywhere here is either forest or lake.

I walked up to the barbecue, and looked at the many campers. Being new somewhere always meant having to sit alone until you found someone to talk to. I didn't see my friends, so I grabbed a hot dog and sat down by the lake. I see some campers around. I breathed in, and started to slowly eat the hot dog. It was delicious and perfect. I missed my boyfriend I had met in Detroit. So, I just sat there looking out at the water dreamily.

Someone sat down at the lake beside me, so I lean over to her. "Hi there." I say to her. "You okay, you look a little distracted?" I ask, while fixing my greenish-brown hair. I stand up, walk over to her, and sit down beside her.

"Time..."

Kayden arrived a little bit late to the barbecue. Like usual...he was always late. As he arrived the noises of the many people around met his ears. He nervously adjusted his blindfold and then walked forwards and managed to navigate his way through the crowd of people. He was surprisingly quick and agile without being able to see. And he only bumped into one person.

Eventually he arrived at his destination. The edge of the lake. A small secluded spot where he still could be seen but at the same time nobody else was sitting there. He sat down and pulled his shoes off and dipped his feet into the cold calming water.

He took a deep breath. He didn't really know why he had come to this function, but he figured if he was going to know anybody here...this would be the place to meet them.
