Camp Barbeque

I'm just sad,very very sad. I have had a bad day. :(

Odysseus noticed the rain. It felt good in the summer heat, but there was also, a sadness in the air. He looked over, and saw Thalia hugging one of the boys from earlier. He smiled. It was good that they'd made up. He looked back at Ethan, and sighed what was he going to do with him.

He went over to the tree, and said to Ethan,"Look son of Ares, I won't make you, but you owe Thalia an apology. The way you treated her was wrong. She really wants to be your friend, and I want her to be happy. Look at her, she is crying. If you care for her any, at all, you will apologize it. Even after the way you treated her, she still wants to be friends. I think you owe it to her to apologize."

He turned around and walked back to where Thalia, and the other boy were. "I saw you guys hugging. Glad you two have made up."

He reached out his hand to Blake, and said,"I am Odysseus Carlson, son of Athena. You are?"

I smiled. "Do you want to talk about it?" I put my hand reasuringly on his shoulder.

I watched Odyseuss hold out his hand to Blake. I smiled and sat back down. I couldn't shake the feeling that someone was mad at me. I tried to ignore it.

"I'm Blake, son of Apollo. Do you want me to go, I mean, uh, since..." I trailed of into silence and looked at the ground.

Ethan came over to apologize but then went back to talk to Liz. I giggled. He moved on quickly. I looked up at Blake and Odyseuss.

I could understand why him and Blake would like Thalia. I felt sorry for him. "I am sorry. Thalia is very sweet. I can see why you would think she likes you. I am sure she didn't mean to hurt you."

Odysseus grinned, he wasn't the jealous type. "No, man. If you want to stay and chat, you can. I really don't mind. Just because Thalia and I are dating, doesn't mean she can't have friends. I just want her to be happy besides. Mother and your dad get along pretty well. The only one I have a problem with is the son of Ares over there."

He paused, winked, and smiled at Thalia. He said,"Don't worry, love, you can still be friends with him. It's just that rivalry between Lord Ares and mother. I guess you can say that I am a little biased."

He sat down, and put his arm around Thalia.

"Sit," he said to Blake as he made some room for him.

I got butterflies in my stomach as Odyseuss put his arm around me. Then I remembered something. "Hey, Odyseuss, I will be right back. I want to go to the Fourtune Teller Booth." I stood and walked over to Solania.

Thalia walked over to me and asked if I would go to the fourtune teller booth with her. I didn't want to leave Chris but I said yes. "Chris and Magnus, I will be right back."

"Yes, of course. I'll be right here if you need me. Just come back soon, I have surprise for you, and please be safe. I don't know what I would do if something were to happen to you."

He grinned, and winked. He would leave the wonder up to her mind. That was what made surprises, so wonderful. You never could tell what it was until it came time for it to be unveiled. He kissed her goodbye, and then turned back to Blake.

"So, Blake, tell me a little bit about yourself. What kind of things do you like to do?"

After a long period of lonliness, I get up and go to the forrtune telling tent.

Magnus said he didn't dislike me but I still had my suspicions. I leaned over and whispered in his ear. "Do you want me to leave Chris alone?" I had a sad look in my eyes. I tried to hold back some tears. I really liked Chris but if his friends didn't like me, he wouldn't like me. I nodded and sighed. I looked at Chris. "I have to go." One tear slides from the corner of my eye. I stand and run toward the woods.
