I glanced at my food, I didn't want to be rude, but I just wasn't hungry anymore, I had too many things on my mind at the moment

I sit at an empty bench far from the campfire and light. I sing a sweet lullaby and look up at the stars, feeling more alone than ever.

I sat under the shade of a tree and blew on my freshly painted nails, I didn't want them to smudge them and get ruin them, especially since they were painted a a pretty purple color, there was a nice breeze so hopefully they would dry quickly so I could have some fun without worrying about my nails

Connor arrived wondering if the girl he had just met was there. He sat down by a tree guitar in hand softly strumming the guitar and singing at the same time. He waited for the girl to come.

"Vanilla it is," Cole nodded. Her grabbed a cone, tossed it in the air, and caught it, popping two scoops of vanilla ice cream on top. Grabbing his own ice cream, which was also vanilla, he walked back over to Aria. "Here you go." Smiling, he handed one to Aria and sat down next to her.

I spotted Connor and I jogged over to where he was, he was pretty cute, but it has hard to admit you liked someone so soon after a loved one's death " Hi " I say smiling

I watch him get our ice cream and smile, vanilla was the a good flavor sweet and creamy, " Thanks" I say smiling as he hands me my ice cream.

Connor looked up and smiled ''Hi Scarlett how are you?'' He played the opening line of Dont Stop Me Now. He was gonna sing but for now let it rest. He wondered if this girl actually liked him?

" I'm good, how are you" I say curtly, I didn't want to be to happy since I was still technically grieving, even if I was starting to get over Wade's death, I still had to pretend to grieve or people would say that I didn't care, but it was nice to be at a social event, even though I stunk at socializing.

Cole smiled at Aria. He was really starting to like her. She made him feel extremely comfortable. Licking his ice cream, he concluded in him mind tha he'll tell her, but not yet.

I smile and start to lick my ice cream, I liked Cole, he made me feel special and he was really sweet, but he probably didn't like me back, I usually had bad luck with guys, I had crushes on them but they never had crushes on me, which absolutely stunk.

Connor shrugged ''I guess im in a good mood.'' He laughed. He was starting to like this girl alot she wasnt like the other girls. She had alot of attitude for a girl and he liked that about her. He wished he could tell if she liked him.

I laugh, he was so laid back and relaxed, which was nice, Wade had seemed that way but then it turned out that he was paranoid and alert which was annoying especially with a war going on. It was a nice day for a barbeque, it was not to warm and not to cold.

Connor was sure about it he liked this girl a lot but there was one tiny problem.
He wasnt sure how to tell the girl he liked her what if she laughed.

Even while he was enjoying his ice cream, Cole was starting to have a war with himself. You like her, so tell her! But wait, I just met her. But I do like her, and she deserves to know. But then she'll probably think I'm a weirdo for liking someone I just met. With all these jumbled up thoughts, Cole groaned inwardly.

" No thanks, I'm trying to stay fit " I say quietly, as soon as I said that I wish I hadn't, it wasn't that ice cream was unhealthy, I mean I love ice cream it was just that Kronos needed fit and strong warriors and in order to be fit and strong I had to watch what I ate, not that I needed to worry about that since I'd always been slender.

Should I tell him that I like him, he might think I'm a weirdo since we just met but then again there is a slim chance that he'll like me too probably not though and its better to be sad then sorry, I mean what if he doesn't like me, then in telling him I'd just humiliate myself.

" No, my mother Khione is a goddess but she does side with Kronos, why what does it matter " I say sharply, it was so annoying, people always judged the titans, some of them were friendly and the only reason some were mean and ambitious was because it was time for the gods to step down.
