Keller l Harris

"I braved a hundred storms to leave you. As hard as you try, no, I will never be knocked down . . ."

- @#@#@#@# -

Keller sprinted away from the satyr handling him, yelling goodbye, as soon as he saw the huge hill. Hills were a good way to burn the everlasting energy Keller seemed to have, and this hill was huge. It would be a challenge for even the challenged. Keller was challenged, but not mentally. Though some might call him mental, and he did have minor dyslexia, Keller didn't consider his ADHD a mental disadvantage. He did have a very sever case of it, but it only made him stronger, more athletic, and have an everlasting supply of energy.

As soon as Keller finished climbing the hill, he sent Kenny, the satyr, a message. It didn't require the Athena boy to use his mouth, which was something that could go on, and on, and on, but his mind. All Keller had to do was think about what he wanted Kenny to hear, and allow the goat guy access to his brain. It wasn't an all access pass, but more like a note on a door. Keller preferred to think that he was just sending the person a message, which was a very simple version of what he was doing.

"Thanks for everything, Ken. Hope you can go back to your life unquestioned. I won't mention you if I run into the press as this camp. I really hope this is a place for me to start over." Keller finished thinking what he had to say, and imagined the thought floating through the air and entering Kenny's head. Once Kenny's eyes lit up, Keller knew he had received the thought, and was thanking Mr. Harris in the best way possible. Keller had a short attention span, and it was best to just give him short facial expressions. Talking was harder.

As the young boy looked across the wide area of land called Camp Half Blood, he struggled to see everything. Way off in the distance, he made out what appeared to be large camp cabins. He was going to like this place just fine, Suddenly, a large owl appeared above his head. It's eyes were onyx, and it appeared to be holding something in it's beak.
"AHH!" Keller screamed, running in circles as he did so. No matter what he did, the owl followed him. It was imprinted in a circle, which was also hovering above the boys head. "What is this! Someone, anyone, help me!" Keller jumped and used up more energy as he did so. He would have the same amount of energy as a normal camper as soon as someone calmed him down. That would be a good thing for the camper, but confusing to Keller Harris.

" . . . I can't keep up with your turning tables."

Oliver Harris sat with her back slumped against the wide trunk of a large tree, reading her omnipresent book, thick with tiny text . The boy running semi-crazily up the giant hill, had already been noticed by Olive . His yells of nonsense were annoying, if anything, in her mind . Even though it meant parting with her book, Oliver rose to her feet to go help the poor boy, who seemed to have just been clamed by none other than Athena . Oliver was also a child of the goddess, and maybe it was that incentive that caused her to go and speak to him . Her pace slowed as she reached him, "Uhm . Hi? Are you okay?" Her voice was shaken, as if she didn't trust herself to actually speak . "I'm Oliver Harris. But you can call me Olive, if you'd like . ""

Keller Harris:

Keller stared at the girl, trying to calm down, but having trouble managing. His heart pumped faster and faster, and he regretted getting himself this way. His ADHD didn't used to be this bad. He used to be able to calm down whenever he say something exciting. He used to be able to be in front of the camera and whoa the audience with his collected cool.

Now? Keller was forced to stay away from cameras. His father was in jail for beating the kid. Keller was famous, but only because of his dad. Keller could sing. Keller was smart. Keller was hot. Keller was perfect. Think again. Keller's life wasn't so great.

"Nice to . . . Meet you!" Keller talked at an uneven pace, his mind struggling to think so slowly. In order for him to speak clearly, he had to concentrate. Otherwise, Keller would be talking so fast, his words would sound like, 'HOFENAK S EIENOINL NOEINW EINOFLV NVELOW MMMMMN.' That wasn't a proper conversation. Conversations could be understood.

The Athena boy was thinking so fast, that when the girl said her last name was Harris, he thought nothing of it. She was just another girl, who kind of resembled him. That part was weird, but it was probably nothing. Keller's brain couldn't put two and two together. "I'm Keller Harris!"
