"I am youthful..."

I sat on a log as I played with a couple twigs. I was looking for something fun to do. I act like a kid a lot of the time. It's not my fault though. It's who my God parent is. My God parent is Hebe, Goddess of youth. That's me, I'm just youthful as can be. I especially enjoy running around and playing with the younger campers. There's not too many of them, so I am satisfied with those fifteen and younger. I'm thirteen years old right now.

I stood up and sat on a patch of grass not to far away. I was making a potion out of nature. This was one of my favorite things to do as kid and I still love doing it as a teenager. I can be self-conscience sometimes, but not when it comes to being a child. People think it's funny the way I sometimes dress like a ten-year-old, r at least I think I do.

"Will you come play with me?"

I trugged up the hill ignoring the pain of my multiple cuts and bruises.Id faught my way from New orleans all the way to New york.Being a demigod ninja was fun but it wasnt easy.I noticed a girl,definatley younger than me,I guess making a poition of some sort.I walked up to her though I kept my space and my hand on my sword hilt."Uh hi.Could you tell me where Im suppose to go?"I asked her feeling really uncomfterbal.Talking to people wasnt my thing.I nervously tucked my bang behind my ear but it just fell back to its normal place,covering my right eye.

I bit my lip. I wasn't good at talking to some of the people at camp. I say, "That way!" I point in the direction I had come from. I also say, "Hello. I'm Riley Romen. Daughter of Hebe. Who are you?"

I stare at her weirdly.Threat?No.Crazy?Maybe."Im Alice.Daughter of Nyx."I said holding out my hand for a handshake.

I shook her hand. Being the child I am I ask, "Do you want to play with me, Alice?" I smile at her. I waited for her to reply. Yup, I was a born child.

I looked at her like she was crazy.Which Im guessing she was."Play.I havent played in....well since I was four really."I said kind of apologetically."But sure I guess I can play with you."I said smiling slightly.

"No, no, no, no...It's fine. I don't have to play right now." I say. I smile. I say, "How old are you Alice? I am thirteen and I have two pets one's a ladybug called Lady and the other is a creamy white bunny named Pearl. Do you have any pets Alice? I like it here, at camp. Is this your first time coming here?"

"Uh..Im fifteen.No pets.And yeah,this is my first time at camp."I said sheepishly.I put my hand behind my head and fingered my braid."So..are you new too or have you been here long?"I asked her akwardly.

"I came here when I was ten, so a little more than three years. I am almost fourteen!" I say. It was true. In the beginning of July I'd be fourteen. That's only a little more than two months. July 7th was my birthday.

"Im almost sixteen.My birthdays May 13th." I said feeling a little more confident.She was a daughter of Hebe.And what was she gonna do?Pull out a water gun anf squirt me with acid?I dont think so."So are there alot of children of Hebe or is it just you?"I asked her.

"That I know of, just me, but I know there's more out there." It's true I didn't know any other children of Hebe were at Camp Half Blood. I wanted to find out. I really wanted to. I looked at Thalia's Tree.

"Same here though Ive been told I have a lot of siblings here."I said a lopside grin on my face.I hope Minerva-sama wasnt kidding.It would be a serious bummer to find out I really didnt have any family here.

"Yeah, Nyx is a big one here at camp. Hebe not so much." I stared into space after saying that. I kept wondering if I had any siblings at camp. I could find out. Yes, all I had to do was ask some of the other campers in the Hera cabin. I snapped back go reality and focused on Alice.

"Oh.Well thats good."I said with mixed feelings.So much for being 'special'.But I was probably the only other person than Mierva-sama who had actually finished ninja training."So was up?"I asked her.

"Nothing much. Just one of those days at camp when you don't feel like training. I might just decide to go make some art." I say thinking. I loved making art. Camp wasn't supposed to be boring. So, what did I have to do to make it not boring? I had to find something to do! My top three favorite things in no piticular order are going to the beach, making art of some sort, and training.

"Art?"I said questioningly."This camp is in the middle of a war right?How would you find time to make art?"I asked her.I dont know if its me and my warlike veiws of the world but I dont think your suppose to make art when in a war.
