About two and a half later Colby came walking up the lake. Her facial expression was not the happiest shes looked like today. Just getting out the shower and putting her P.Js on she realized her flipflops were not there. She guessed they were still at the lake.

Getting to where she was eariler today she found a sleeping form of Ace. Picking her shoes off the ground she looked at him for a moment and then with a swift movement a shoe flew dead towards the slipping body. "Helllooo..." She said waiting for a movement.

Waking up with a start, Ace hopped up immediately and scanned his surroundings for his attacker. He was about to tackle the first person he saw until he realized that the person was Colby. His stance immediately relaxed and he saluted to her, glancing between her and the shoe that he presumed she had thrown at him to wake him up.

"'Evening." He greeted, picking up the shoe and throwing it back at her. "Nice way to wake someone up." He retorted, shaking his head in mock disapproval. "Sorry about your shoes, I meant to return them later on, after I had my nap." He explained, stretching and rubbing his neck. "I enjoy my naps." He said absently.

Rising her eyebrows when he jumped up and looked around for an attacker she wondered if he was serious. Seeing him relex she laughed and leaned her weight to one hip. "You looked like you were going to jump me for a moment. What if I was some random kid waking up this dead looking guy?" She asked. That; she thought to herself, whould be very interesting.

A light wind blew by and ruffled the silk pajama capris, and Colby wrinkled her nose slightly. Yawning Colby catched the shoe as it almost hit her. "I enjoy naps too, but I find there much better in beds or even coaches. "I never ask but, who's your god parent?"

"I was about to jump you." He admitted, lifting his shoulders and then lowering them again. "If you were some random kid I would have jumped you for sure. Throwin' things at me while I'm trying to take a nice, peaceful nap." He responded, mumbling the last part more to himself than for Colby to hear.

Ace gave her two thumbs up and a wolf-whistle as a joke before remarking, "Nice pajamas." Then he paused, lowering his thumbs and clenching his jaw a little harder than usual. "Nobody important, but you probably wouldn't be too big a fan of him." Ace answered, shrugging. He usually preferred that people didn't know who his god parent was, it just raised too many expectations of him. Okay, so he was supposed to be this great, legendary death-raiser or something, what the heck did they expect him to do? Raise a skeletal army and some hellhounds for show and tell or something?

He preferred not to associate himself with his father dearest anyways. He had heard that Hades was a major jerk, and it wasn't as if the god had done anything for Ace to prove otherwise. Ace knew that gods weren't supposed to meet with their demigod children or anything, but did he seriously have to neglect them like that? Don't have children if you're not going to help them out. Didn't help that he took his sweet time claiming Ace as well.

Feeling her eyes narrow and cheeks tint as he pointed out her PJs. She tried to mostly deside who he could be. She searched his face carfully. "I don't really care much who it is, as much as being curious. It seems weird to not know who it is, it's not like I would judge you." She shrugged with a sincere trusting smile.

Her deep green eyes glazed with a sleepiness that seemed to be getting more and more awake. As the last dim light faded into a dark blue sky her eyes grew awake and alert. Her attention partly slipped to the meeting they had just had with a surprize note from the gods themselves.

Shrugging, Ace tapped his index finger against his leg. "Alright, I'm a son of Hades. I'll probably get shot for calling him unimportant." He said, scowling lightly. Lifting his eyes to the sky, Ace squinted and then grinned. "The day passed by quickly." He mused, biting on the inside of his cheek and leaning against the tree nearest to him.

"Are you going to switch into Nyx mode soon or somethin'?" He asked, lifting his eyebrows in an amused way.

She rised her eyebrows and nodded. "Yeah you might be." Shrugging like it was nothing she fell stright down in to where she was sitting crossed legged in the sand.

"Huh? What? Oh um.. It depends on what 'NyxMode' means." She said stuiding her shoes then sighed suddenly remembering what had made her feel mentally tried. "We got a letter by the gods today, They want us to come to a fancy dinner thing." The way she said it proved she was excited but dreading this news.

"Oh, don't know. Do you get more energetic in nighttime or anything? Or was that just how you usually were when I met you?" He asked, laughing. Whistling some more, Ace nodded his head. "Sounds pretty cool. I'm assuming that you mean the cabin leaders. Looking forward to the good food?" He asked, crossing his arms again.

(( I need Ace to do something other than crossing his arms and raising his eyebrows but I don't know manly gestures. -headdesk- ))

With a shrug she looked him dead in the eyes. "Maybe then." She replied simply. Looking back to the light colored navy sky she wondered rather if she was the same. Yes and No. She could be like that now, but she wasn't seeing as that wasn't her true form in the first place she hadn't changed much.

Shaking her head. "If only. No It's Cabinleaders and whoever they drag along with them. One problem though." She held a hand out in front of her chest and gestered no. Talking with her hands also she said. "No one to drag" tapping her thumb to her chest twice. Dropping her hand she flopped on her back with a sad thump.

"What? Pretty girl like you?" He asked innocently before snickering a little bit. "Sorry, innocence isn't my colour." He stated, rolling his shoulders and staring upwards. "Formal dinner thing at Olympus with your parents and stuff. That would give me the jeepers." He said, grinning a little bit. "Well, I bit you good luck, madam. And good luck to the guy you take along with you. Hope your mom doesn't smite him or anything. Do you know if your mom's gonna be there?" He questioned, furrowing his brows.

"I doubt she would smite him... but then again she sent me my older as a wolf to 'protect' me for like 6 years... of course he turned human and is now madly in love with Bellinda, the Doinysus Leader..." She thought about it and found the thought was kinda weird to her.

Looking back at Ace she smiled bigger and bigger. "I got it... Since it doesn't have to be a real date you bring... I could take you!" She said with a satisfied grin. That way she didn't have to go and find she random male and ask out and look like a random fool. Her and Matt were over she that was out of question.

Sobering up she scanned the night as a few stars twinkled from behind the clear sky. "Yea I do belive she is going to be there, [i">Most are."[/font]

"Oh, cool. A wolf protector, that's pretty beast." He said, before snorting and adding, "Literally." Stretching out his arms, Ace lifted an eyebrow. "That's... interesting." He commented uneasily, grinning a little bit at the thought. "He's not a werewolf or anything, right? Because that would be.. I don't know, like something in a movie or something."

"Oh, I'm not considered a real date, that's flattering." He said sarcastically, grinning. "Well, since you asked me so politely, I would be honoured to attend this dinner with you." He replied, poking her in the side. "I better not have to wear anything ridiculous." He added, imagining himself in a dress for some reason and then shuddering.

"Most are?" He repeated, eye twitching slightly. "This thing isn't going to be crowded, is it? Because crowds aren't really my cup of tea."

She smiled and squealed as he poked her in the stomach. Her arms wrapped around her belly as she laughed. She was very ticklish and just touching her stomach could cause her to fall into uncontroled laugher.

Shrugging she said. "Oh no... not too bad, button down shirt, tie, nice shoes, and dress pants." She said with a slight wrinkle of her nose. Swinging to ther side she shook her head. "No only the Leaders, there parents, and their dates. If that many..."

"Ticklish, eh?" He asked, a mischievous glint in his eyes. This would be helpful knowledge for the future, very helpful knowledge. "Oh gods, dress pants." He interjected, narrowing his eyes. "I don't think I own a pair of those." He added, looking up as he tried to remember the few items that made up his wardrobe - if it could even be called that. Not being one to care for clothes and anything of the sort, Ace only had clothes that were comfortable and efficient. The bare necessities.

Sniffing, Ace nodded his head. "Yeah, Ace Ashfield does not own any dress pants. You know anybody who is approximately my height and size that owns a pair? I'm pretty sure I have everything else."

Glaring at him she stuck her tounge out at him. "Don't even think about it." She warned him but she started laughing again. Stopping after a few moments she smiled, "Seriously, it feels weird"Dropping her arms back to her side.

She frowned trying to guess who is roughly his size. "Yeah, I do belive Arron might but... he's not big on dress pants either." She shrugged. "I'll find something." Standing up she streached and looked over at Ace. "I should get back to my Cabin, they get alittle.... restless at times."

"Oh, too late for that." Ace replied, laughing with her and smiling back briefly. "Hm, maybe I'll go and blackmail one of my siblings into lending me some dress pants." He said, shrugging it off. "Sounds good. I'll head back to mine too and pin down a pair of pants." He mused, saluting to her. Maybe he should offer to walk her to her cabin or something, but it wasn't as if they were dating or anything. Way too awkward.

"See you later, gator." He said, waving as he jogged off to his cabin.

Colby rolled her eyes at him and laughed lightly. "Have fun with that." She said with light humor. Her eyes followed around the beach as he left. Turning towards her cabin she heard a voice and it didn't sound happy. With a few bonding strides she tore towards her cabin with a natural grace.
