| Train l Jackson"I knew when we collided, you're the one I have decided . . ."Train sat on her cot, sweating and holding a tiny little life form in her arms. She was wearing the dumb little hospital dress and her baby was wrapped in the traditional blue towel. He was an angel, at least in Train's eyes. He had brown hair, like both his mother and his father, and brown eyes, like both of his parents. He had some looks from his father, and some from his mother, but Train knew he belonged only to her. No stupid demititan was going to claim her baby.
Train's little boy didn't have a name yet, but she wasn't taking suggestions. She had to come up with his name or she would have to permanently have to deal with the thought that someone else named her child. She couldn't think of any names right away that fit him, and she suddenly realized why her mom and dad had named her Train. Naming was tricky business.
"Hello, sweetie," Train cooed, wanting her boy to hear her voice. He was going to have to recognize it, for Train was going to be his only parent. Red got no claim on their child.
Some people had gossiped about her, saying that she was too young to have a child, or that the father was a horrible choice, but Train just rolled her eyes whenever she passed these people. They knew nothing about her. The baby had been with her for YEARS. Train was the oldest camper at camp, considering when she was born, and she would always be 14. It was the age she would have her child.
Train's eyes were fixed upon her son's. She was brainstorming the perfect name. It had to fit her and her son, and it couldn't be too long. It couldn't be too short though, and it had to sound nice with Train. Even though she hated the idea, it had to sound nice with either Red or Remington, too.
That's when the perfect name for Train's little cutie hit her: Travis. Train held Travis in her arms and knew it was the perfect name. He would forever be Travis, of course, but she would nickname him Travie. Train liked Travie better than Travis, so she would call him Travie. "Hi Travis, little Travie."" . . . Who's one of my kind!" | |
