Arena Challenge (Fight)

I was in the arena.I had wandered around camp for a while finding good hiding places and escape routes.The titan army base looked like a cheap motel compared to camp.I heard some guy asking if anyone wanted to fight him."I'll fight you."I said once I was a good three feet away from him.

I took out both my dagers.One was silver and blood stained.The other was celestial bronze and new."Im Eliza.Who are you?"I asked him.I sized him up.He looked like he could put up a decent fight though I had to remind myself not to kill him.Being an assasin for afew years really changed me.I got into a battle stance waiting for his response.

"My name is Alex." He replied, straightening his grip on his sword and moved his foot into position. He gripped his shield and leaned foward. "Ready?" he asked and gripped his sword tightly.

I raise my dager and get into a fighting stance."Im always ready."I say before charging him.Sure he had the better weapons but I had a lifetimes worth of experience killing people.I appear infront of him in three seconds flat.Being a daughter of hermes had some advantages.

He leaped back in suprise and swung his shield forward at her. He twisted his sword around and slashed the air in front of him. He set his shield in normal position and readied his sword. "Good move." he told her.

"Thanks. Your not to bad yourself."I said positioning my self into a martial arts stance.I had practiced martial arts for afew years but I was no where good enough to compare myself to my cousin.It kinda ticked me off,my younger cousin being a better fighter than me.I ran at him again but this time I jumped over him landing with barley a sound and slashing at his back with both dagers.

He saw her run at him so he dropped to the ground, her daggers slashing over him. He rolled to the side before she could stab him while he was down. He jumped up and straightened his helmet. He took a few steps back. "Nice jump." He said while he ran forward and slashed.

I met his sword with both dagers easily.I could sense the mark on my shoulder slowly turning red.It always did that to make me bloodthirsty.I circled Alexander looking for an opening."So how long have you been in camp?"I asked him trying to ignore my urge to kill.

"I've been here for a year and a half." He ducked and rolled back to avoid getting hit. He threw his shield and grabbed a sword off the ground. He stood up and held both swords up and readied for an attack.

"I just got here.Titan army wanting my head and all I decided this was the better option."I said.I quicly sheathed both my dagers and unsheathed my sword.It,just like my daggers,was bloodstained.This time insted of running directly at him.I ran to his side and turned last second slashing at his waist.

He collapsed to the ground as pain flared in his side. He rolled across the floor and held a hand at his side. His sight turned red as the blood rushed to his face. He threw his sword at her and struggled to his feet.

I saw him go down and I could practically see the curse mark grow bigger.I grit my teeth and dodged the sword he threw at me."You ok?"I asked him keeping mybdistance though my sword was still raised.

"Yea. I'm fine." He unstrapped the axe on his back and stumbled back. He gripped the axe tightly, his fingers turning a little numb. He looked at her and saw her shoulder turning red. "Are you ok? You need a rest?"

I cursed undermy breath."Its a curse mark.Not a wound."I said my voice nonchalant but there was a bitternes behind it.I ran at him this time swinging at his chest.

He swung his axe at her, nearly cutting her sword in half. He yanked his axe out of the dirt and stumbled back. He clenched his axe so tightly that his fingers started going numb again. "i like this axe. Got me out of a lot of tight places."

He could feel the daggers cut through his skin, burning into him. He dropped his axe on the floor and raised his hands. "I give up!" He yelled and collapsed to the ground. He could feel the blood rushing to his head as he passed out.

"Oh hades."I mumbled.I sheathed my dagers and took out a small vile of nectar I kept in my pocket.I kneeled next to him and fed him some nectar.It would help since they werent that bad of wounds.I winced as my curse mark expanded even more.Danmit.That was not good.

He raised his hand and grabbed the ninja star out of his pocket and stuck it in the ground next to him. He raised himself up on his hands and looked around. He was still in the arena, still safe. He stumbled to his feet and blinked the dust out his eyes.

I put a hand on his shoulder to help him stand straight."You okay?"I asked him concerned.Hed tacken a preety nasty fall.

"Yea. I think I'm fine. Are you Ok?" He picked up his ninja star and threw it at a dummy. Straw flew everywhere when the ninja star flew through the dummie's helmet. He stumbled on his feet when he tried to walk.

I put my hand on his shoulder again when he stumbled."Im fine.You put up a good fight."I said giving him a thumbs up.

"So, who's your dad?" He started to walk back to the cabins. He saw his sister waiting for him in front of the Hermes cabin. He could feel his legs start to give way and he fell again.
