Where am I?(Open RP for the new girl)

Rue relaxed again and smiled. "Good. I like this place." She stood up next to Minerva and looked around at all the odd looking buildings. Leaning forward a little onto her toes, and with the arms slightly extended from her sides, she looked almost as though she were a bird ready to take flight.

"Glad you do."I said.She looked a lot like a bird when she stood like that it was uncanny."Do you think your gonna be here for the whole year or just summer?"I asked Rue.

"I have no where else to go. Why would anyone leave anyway?" She asked, standing normally and looking at her. "Don't people like being safe."

The question caught me a little off gaurd."Well yeah.But some campers have family who cant come to camp.If they never left camp theyd never see their familys again."I said to her.

"Oh, yeah. Families, I forgot about those." Rue muttered, fiddling with her torn jeans for a minute before looking up again. "I suppose I will be here all year. Do you stay?"

I smiled at her sympathetically."Usually.I might leave for a week to hang out with my dad or for mardi gras.But most of the time Im here at camp."I said to her.Must be tough being so young and not having a family.

"Did you save her?" Rue asked looking at Anna. Her eyes were a little watery, but she was controlling it fairly well.

"You can also go on quests but I dont think your ready for them just yet."I said to rue."How'd the quest go?"I asked Anna.I had never been on a quest but I had practically grown up running away from monsters so I dont think I was missing out on much.

"I don't want to leave here anyway. At least not for a while." Rue told Minerva before turning back to Anna.

I nodded."So hows Arren?"I asked her.I hadnt forgoten about her boyfreind.I had my own to think about but I was one of those people that remembered stuff no matter what.

Rue nodded and rubbed her eyes. When Minerva asked her question she tilted her head to one side and asked, "Who is Arren?" Then covered her mouth, hoping it washing private.

I supressed a laugh when she turned bright red."Lets just say hes a very very good freind of annas."I said to Rue."I have a very very good freind too and maybe when your older you might have one."I said to her giving a knowing lookk to Anna.

Rue giggled at Anna and smiled. "I don't know what that means." She said, "But you look kind of funny when you talk about it." She giggled again, a little laugh gift-wrapped with a smile.

I laughed."You wont have to know for a while."I said to Rue.She was just so damn cute sometimes.

Rue smiled at Minerva and laughed with her. She was really happy to have found people who were nice. She fairly glowed with it. In fact she did glow! "So what do we do now?" She asked.

I did a double take when I saw her glow.Yep.She was literally glowing."Want me to show you around camp?I could get you settled in the hermes cabin since were not sure who your godly parent is yet."I said to her smiling reasuringly.

Rue tilted her head a little in confusion when Minerva stared at her oddly, then shrugged and let it go. "Sure!" She nodded enthusiastically, "I've never been in a cabin before!" She smiled and looked around camp again, stretching up into her eager bird-like pose and glowing brighter with excitement. Slowly the image of a sun appeared over her head and bathed her in a warm golden glow, though Rue didn't seem to notice.

I stared at her in shock."Uh honey,look up."I said pointing to the small sun above her head.I was right.She was a daughter of apollo.

Rue hesitated before looking up. When she saw the sun she gasped and tried to hide behind Minerva, but it stayed above her head no matter how many circles she ran in. After a minute of this she began to laugh and skip around, watching the sun bounce along with her before it faded away again. "What was that thing?" Rue asked once it was gone, turning back to Minerva.

"You here that rue?You know who your godly parent is.No staying at the hermes cabin.Youve found your family."I said kneeling next to her till we were at the same eye level.I smiled brightly at her.

"Family," Rue mumbled, her eyes distant. Then she focused on Minerva and gave her a huge hug. "I have a family. Oh thank you! Thank you!"
