Daisy shot him a glare, "Not helping, Samuellie. I mean, I'd like you to meet my daddy one day if we ever lasted that long I mean. And it'd be awkward saying, 'Daddy, meet my nineteen year-old boyfriend and I'm only sixteen!'" She said sarcastically.

Sam looked over at her and thought about it. "I really don't know." He could tell by how she talked about her dad that she really loved him and he mattered alot to her. He could also see that he would have to appove. Looking back on the road he sighed. "I'm sure he'll understand.." He said with a shrug. "4 years is'nt that big of a gap is it? 19-23. 20-24. Didn't old people like have 8 year gaps between them all the time?" He asked and then smiled. "I don't think they have room to talk. Our godly parents or 1000's of years old."

"Eyes on the road!" She cried as the jeep started swerving into the other lane. Daisy was very paranoid about cars. Somethings just made her paranoid. Funny how cars made her luney while fireworks calmedher.

Sam chuckled and drove down the wet slick road. Looking on the dash he seen the numbers. 12 : 19 and he smiled. Once they entered Brooklyn Sam found a Wal-Mart and pulled into the parking lot. With a smile He parked. "Let's find you some Monsters and a Cake." He said lifting the previous mood. The rain had stopped competely but it was still damp felling with heavy cold air.

"Greatness. But I'm not allowed in Wal-Mart. Apparently they don't like it when you run through the store sing-screaming, 'Wake Me Up When September Ends' with a pink guitar. Whatever." She brushed this away and hopped out of the jeep. "Hopefully they don't have me on file like they in most of the Ohio stores."

"Pfft, is that a fat joke?" She teased, poking herself in the stomach. "I'm kidding. But we should roman candles, and oh, I hope you have a lot of money because fireworks are expensive," she rubbed her thumb and middle fingers together showing him the cash sign.

Sam thought. "Only about 200 in cash. 2 grand on my card." He said slightly shyly. It wasn't in his nature to prade around showing off materital posessions. He gave a smile at Mayza and looked down. "I'mma have to get a buggy aren't I?" He asked knowing he was going to have to get alot of fireworks and probably something else. He was getting sorta hungrey.

Sam pushed the buggy around and followed Mayza as she tossed fireworks in the buggy. He grabbed a few things here and there and then he stopped Mayza. "You can finshed getting things. I'mma go get something." He left the buggy and ran off towards the snack alise.

"You mean a snack, fatso?" She chuckled as she watched him dissapear down the snack isle. What was a snack aisle doing in a fireworks shop? She shook the thought off as she grabbed a pack of sparklers. Daisy loved sparklers.
