Syn's arrival (open)

She sighed. "Sorry. Just curious." she apologized. She looked up towards the sky, eyes closed. She loved the nature, and she could think more clearly in it. "Well, one thing's for sure. Whatever you're past is, you had the guts to drink Lethe. So it must be...that bad." she whispered, not wanting Syn to get worried or something.

"Blood." she whispered. She remembered the time she killed her first person. There was blood. Everywhere. Even on her. Shuddering once, she wasn't feeling okay now. Now that the memories were back.

Syn looked at her, and noticed Candice's unease. "You okay?" she asked, putting a hand on the girls shoulder kindly. She, herself, was also feeling uneasy, and distracted herself from the thoughts by turning her attention to Candice. "Do you want to sit?'

"Okay." she didn't resist. She sat down, by the roots of a big tree. "The-The
memories are just so...so vivid." she responded. How could she tell her without being called weak? This was hard enough for Syn, to add her unease as well.

She fidgeted in her seat. "It was- er, it was an accident."she started. "I didn't mean to. He-he was going to kill us."she couldn't sat it. The face of the kid was still in her mind. Like an image she could never burn. "It was the war. And he was on the opposite side." she continued.

"Then I got my sword. Swung it around to protect one demigod." she explained. This was stupid, why was she going back to this? "It hit her throat." she said, bowing her head. If only she had been diplomatic and talked to him. She was so scared. She almost got killed if it weren't for another demigod. "Sorry if I'm boring you." she sighed.

Candice sighes. That's what happened in the everyday crazy life of half bloods. She remembered that day perfectly. Yet she couldn't burn the scene out of her mind. "I guess. That's what we get for being a demigod." she smiled solemly.

Candice nodded, confirming her thoughts accidentally. "It's a mixed us world where we're thrown in. Wars to fight and quest where we die horribly."she whispered. "But that's why we train. To protect this mixed up world we live in. And that's wh every little happy thing counts." she assured her.

"But what?" she seemed awfully afraid. But of what? Kinda reminds Candice of her friend, Raphaela, innocent and afraid of everything. Smiling, she waited for her to answer.
