Brief History: Syn does not remember anything from before she was 13. She awoke to find a tear stained note scrawled messily on a balled up piece of paper tucked away in her pocket. It Told her all she needed to know.
"Dear Syn,
Thats your name; Cinnamon Rayne, or Syn, for short. You are 13 years old, born in 1995 on February the 25th. I can't tell you what happened, only that it was bad. Real Bad. They killed my your father, David Rayne, and they tried to kill me. You. Us. I guess I should explain. I am you. I'm writing this note so you will know what to do. I hope you don't remember what happened, otherwise the Lethe I'm about to drink will have been wasted, but there's two things you should know. One is: Run. And the second is: Maia. I cant explain, but you need to run, and you need to remember that name.

She ran, figuring out that she was different, and figuring out that the reason why she ran was the monsters that hunted her. She didn't understand why, but she just kept running.
She managed to stay out of reach from these monsters that hounded her, until she was caught off guard, ravaged by a large beast which she later found out was a hell-hound. It only managed to claw her back, and bite into her left arm, making her lucky. But the attack knocked her unconscious, both from the pain and the blood. She woke to find herself in camp half blood, in the infirmary with bandages covering her wounds. She doesn't know who her savior is.

Physical Appearance: She has deep reddish-brown auburn hair thats slightly curly in loose locks that reaches down just below her breastbone, with a fringe that reaches her eyebrows, usually swept messily to one side. Her eyes are a piercing green-blue, which stand out due to her pale milky-white skin. She has a slim, softly muscled figure, and is quite tall, reaching about 5'11".

She usually wears a dark red, mid-thing length, front zip up dress, and black tights, plus dark brown leather ankle boots. She always has a bracelet on, the chain made from the same style of a dog-tag, and it has a small, rectangular pendant with her name 'Syn' engraved into it.

Personality: Syn is a calm, quiet person, somehow managing to seem either shy or snobbish to most people. She is neither, as she only doesn't know how to interact with people after being on the run from all she can remember, and puts up a cold front so that she doesn't get hurt. She usually says what she means, or doesn't say anything at all. But when she speaks, most people stop to listen to her, as her voice is gentle, and soft, both hard to hear and quite pleasant to listen to. She is friendly, and welcoming, but doesn't open herself up to others.

Fatal Flaw: She is terrified of blood, and will either instantly look away, or freeze up. If there is a lot of blood, however, she has been known to faint. Because of her amnesia, she is scared to open up to anyone, and secretly scared of what secrets their may be that she may have known, or what had happen, and generally avoids talking about the past.

Pets: She gets along with all animals, and even adopted an injured wolf pup (called Fal) while she was on the run, but she hasn't seen him since she was attacked.

Talents: She can speak to animals, and doesn't realize this is something most people cant do, and she also has (but hasn't learnt) the ability to shape shift into animals. She has semi-advanced senses compared to most people, (comes from her link to animals) being able to smell, hear, and see things better. She has also learned to be quick, both in speed and reflexes, and also has a lot of stamina from running.

Weapons: Being of her better senses, Syn makes a pretty good archer, but she refuses to pick up a weapon unless she absolutely has to. She also carries around a celestial bronze arrow head which is her basic form of defense.

Other: She has a habit of flipping the celestial bronze arrow head through her fingers when she's holding it. She prefers to be with the nature spirits (dryads, nymphs, etc) and animals than most mortals, and she likes to be outside, sneaking of to be alone with nature.
