James nodded and smiled. "So you don't want to be a mother?" He asked, jokingly.

I laughed."I want to be a mom.In the distant future.I just dont think it would be smart tohave a defensless kid along with us."I said a sweet smile on my face.In New Orleans I was like all the little kids big sister.They were cute and rosy cheeked but they cried for the smallest things and were afraid to even go to sleep without someone cheking their closet.I didnt want to bring along soething so inicent on a dangerous quest.

James laughed. "Well most kids here have weapons and probubly aren't afraid of a little monster that could eat them." James said with a smile. "Don't worry, you'll find someone." He said assuringly.

I gave him a hug."Sure I will.But Im standing firm on the age limit.Circe is a necromancer like me,and even though it takes like three magycians to get into my head,anyone whos not emotionally prepared could be scared for life."I said in a serious voice looking him straight in the eye.

James laughed. "Well, I'm not scared. If your going, then im going." James said sternly. "When do you want to go looking?" James asked her with a small grin.

"As soon as posible.I think we should proclaim were going.Then wed find someone real fast."I said laughing.I knew a lot of people were willing to go on a quest.Though I may have wanted to see just how willing people were I knew we had to go soon."First things first,we need to find out how were getting to her Island."

James looked up at the sky and thought. "Maybe the Hepheastus cabin could help us out with a boat." James said, hoping he didn't sound dumb. He didn't know his way around here very well.

"Maybe.What if we got a posiedon kid to come with us?It would help a lot."I said.I looked up at the sky too.It was a light blueand there werent that many clouds.I held his hand.

James held her hand. "That would be good. Do you know any Posiedon campers?" James asked her curiously.

"Not at all."I said looking at him.I knew tones of campers but I usually stayed away from the zues and posiedon campers.I never felt quite safe with them around.

James looked at her weirdly. "Why not?" He asked as he rubbbed her back. "They seem like nice enough people." He said. He had 2 sons of Zues, and they were good guys.

"I never really fully trust Posiedon or Zues campers.I guess I was just taught to stay away from them."I said shruging my shoulders.My dad had hamered some stuff into me when I was young and this was one of those things.

James looked at her and understood. "Cause your dad is a son of Hades right?" He asked and put his arms around her back. Her dad kept getting better and better as he heard more about him.

"That and zues tried to kill me once."I said as I remembered that unfateful day.I was getting on the plane to come to camp half blood and when we were halfway there a thunderstorm followed us.I frowned.I bet he thought my dad was some kind of monster.Simply wonderful.

James looked at her with a defensive look. "Zues tried to kill you?" He said in a serious tone. He was about to get angry and curse Zues, but remebered he'd probubly die if he did.

"Who hasnt?"I said my voice slightly raised.I had been almost killed by a viarity of people.I put my head on his shoulder trying to ward of bad thoughts.

James put a hand on her head and pushed it confortly toward his shoulder. "I havn't." He said, not smiling. "Whose butts do I have to kick?" James asked looking at her. If someone at camp had tried to kill her, James wanted to know so he could take care of him/her.

I kissed him."Not anyone at camp.Not yet atleast.I dont know why but people seem to get the urge to kill whenever Im around."I said laughing nervously.I had been almost killed by a lot of people.

James got a scary serious look that made him look older then he was. "They better not have." He said darkly. "If they had, they would quickly regret it." James put a protective hand on her back and rubbed it.

I huged him."You shouldnt make that face to often.You kinda looked like my dad."I said a woried tone in my voice.Sure he promised to protect me but I didnt want him to get scary protective.

James laughed. "I knew it made me look older but I think it would make me look that old." James said with a a little frown. "I don't like being old. Oh, and I promise I wont get really protective of you. Just a little protective when it comes to someone trying to kill you."

I laughed."My dads 31,And you never seemed like the overly protective tipe."I said a little smile on my face.If you did the math,my dad had me when he was about 17.He was aperantly a really mature guy.

James looked at her funnily. "Your dads only 31?" He asked in amazment. usually the gods and goddess go after older guys. "I thought he would be older."

I shruged."He did odd jobs for Hades.He told me thats how he met my mom."I said fingering my necklace.My dad was still young and still able to kick butt.

James smiled. "Well I'm happy he did. If he didn't I wouldn't have met you." James said with a sweet smile. It was true, he wiuld be very upset if she wasn't here. He just couldn't imagine life without her.
