"I hope they aren't. aren't they supposed to be on our side?" James asked as he closed his eyes, trying hard not to think about that day.

"Some cyclops work at the forges at Poseidon's palace, some others make lairs in the mortal world and eat half-bloods. Polyphemus is probably the most popular bad cyclops since hes from the myths and still living." Jake said, trying to change the topic to a specific cyclops so that James wouldn't think of the cyclops that killed his father as his eyes were closed and was probably trying hard not to think of his father's death.

James looked up and asked, "what is the story of Polyphemus? He sounds familiar, but I can't remember it." James tried to remember but he couldn't.

Jake thought about James' question for a little while and said, "All i can remember about him is him being almost blind due to having his eye stabbed out before."

James thought about that for a second and said, "Well it served him right. Most cyclops should go blind. Then less people will die by them." James said with a small look of hatred.

Jake looked at James and saw that he had a slight look of hatred, Jake decided to change the subject, "So, how's the Aphrodite cabin like?"

James looked at Jake, confused for a moment, then smiled and said, "It's really girlie in there. It's not that bad though. Smells like alot of perfume though. But its cunfy." James said with a smile.

Jake suppressed a smirk at his success at changing the topic and getting James to smile, "Sounds nice other then the girlie part. If you had a choice to choose which cabin you get to go into what would you choose?"

James thought about it for awhile. He couldn't think of one. "Um, I'm not sure. Maybe the Apollo cabin?" James said with a little laugh. "No! I'd choose the Hecate cabin. For personal reasons." James said with a small smirk.

Jake watched as James thought about it for awhile, "Um, I'm not sure. Maybe the Apollo cabin?" James finally said with a little laugh only to immediately say with a small smirk, "No! I'd choose the Hecate cabin. For personal reasons." Jake got a smirk of his own and said, "And what are those personal reasons?"

James laughed. "Well let just say I have more friends in the Hecate cabin then I do anywhere else." James looked at the sky and smiled to himself.

James thought for a second. "I don't know. Um, Hecate, Apollo, Poseidon, Demeter, and finally Aphrodite." James laughed at his choices. "Kinda weird place but you know, they look great." He said with a smile

James shivered. "I can't stand the cold. I'd rather be hot then cold." James said. He really didn't like the feeling of being cold. He was used to being warm exept in the winter. "Maybe its cause I don't like wearing jackets. I don't know. I just hate being numb."

James laughed. "All right. But why is there even a Goddess of snow anyway?" James asked with a confused look. "No offence to Khione or anything, but it sounds a bit, um whats the word I'm looking for? It's like pointless but different."

James shrugged and said, "I geuss. I mean she can freeze people but thats about it." James laughed and shook his head. "Thats pretty scarry though."

Jake laughed with James as he finished his statement but James shook his head and said, "That's pretty scary though." Jake laughed again and said, "As quoted from Mr D "Well Duh!" obviously being able to freeze people would be scary, unless you can use fire. So I have almost nothing to be worried about."
