James Valentine at the beach

"Hey. So what do those colors mean?" He asked Minerva, suddenly interested in this aura thing.

"Well light blue usually means somrthing along the lines of 'nice,kind peacful,not extremly masculine,trustworth'Kind of like an overall good guy.The red tinge at the corners usually meas your 'purity' is slowly being consumed or youve seen someone die."I said surprised that he was actually interested in this kind of stuff.

James looked at Minerva with a sad look as she mentioned him seeing someone die. "Yeah. I've seen death. I don't like to think about it though." James closed his eyes trying not to remember his father.

"I saw half my town die.Were in the same boat."I said.I put m knees against my chest and hugged them not wanting to dwell too much on what I just said."Do you wanna know about your aura Ali?"I asked her examineng her more cloely.

James looks down at the ground. "I'm sorry." He said and sat down next to her. He stared up at the sky and watched the clouds.

"I'm sorry too. Both of you but mabe it was ment to be?" I say.

"'Death can be a gift or a curse.Never both for neither is the same.'Thats written on a statue near my hose."I said remembering the well worn path and the statue of a man whose name Idid not know."Back to your aura. You do have a red tinge but its not so promenant.Your almost completly yellow wich means'thoughtful,confident,straightforward,smart' and I guess that makes sense since you are a daughter of athena."I said trying to lighten the mood,I streched out my legs and leaned on my elbows.

James looked up and smiled. "I suppose." James got up and started walking to the water.

I,being the copetitive person I am took of my shirt revealing my bathing suit top,dived into the water screaming"Winner!"I came up for air pushing back my black now wet hair.

James ran and dove into the water behind Minerva. He already had his shirt off and His bathing suit on. James came up for air and swam toward Minerva.

James swam to Minerva and splashed with water while laughing. He splashed her again and swam away.

I got splashed by water repeatedly by James before he reatreted. I splashed water at him and looked at the distant ocean."Look!Dolphins!"I said pointing at two dolphins jumping around in the water like exited puppys.

James swam back over to Minerva and watched the dolphins. "They are awesome." He says as he watch's them with Minerva.

"You know Ive always wanted to ride a dolphin?"I told James watching the dolphins along with him.I had always loved dolphins but I never saw them often.

James laughed. "We could swim and try to catch up to them and ride them." James said. He not only wanted to make Minerva happy, but he also thought it would be fun.

"Thatd be awsome!Come on!"I said grabbing his hand and swiming torward the dolphins..They were about 3 meters away.Surprisingly close for two dolphins but this was Camp Half Blood.

James swam with her to dolphins. He swam a bit closer and reached out and grabbed one. He pulled Minerva with him and slung her onto the dolphins back.

Both me and James ended up on a dolphin surprisingly.I hung on to him for dear life cause I didnt wanna get pitched of the dolphin on the first try."This is awsome!"I said before the dolphin plungened into the water apperantly not minding me and James on its back.

James smiled and looked back at Minerva. "Having fun?" He when they surfaced.
