A Few Days Away [PRIVATE]

I studied the roads skeptically. Victoria's house was only one block away from mine, so it had to be-
"Over there," I said. "That's it. That's her house."

I spun around and faced the group. "Is everyone ready?" I asked. Seriously, they better be, if they were going to meet my dad. Yeah, like I said, he is like any other dad, but he is more involved in what I do. He is supportive and all, but like I said, just more involved.

~ Again, I apologize for the short post. I just don't have my creative juices flowing at the moment. xD

"Hello sir" he said. He turned  to Victoria. He gave her a 'you-ready' look and gulped. "Now what?" he whispered to no one in particular.

"Uh, yeah. Maybe a little queasy from the shadow travel. Yeah. That's it. Maybe I'll just sit here on guard." she said. After a nod and a quiet hello to Victoria's Dad, she sat down on the top stair and shook her head.


~Sorry for the absence and short posts. Been moody for some time now.

~ Death?! Moody?! 'ISH NAWT POSSIBLE!'

~ Victoria's dad's expression lightened in an instant once he saw Victoria, Connor and I at his door. He didn't even bother to acknowledge Jasper and MJ, probably because he has not met them yet. "It's been so long!" he exclaimed, bringing his daughter into a tight embrace.

"Dad, really, not in front of my friends," I muttered. I was always the type of girl that tried to play cool. The one that always fit in with the popular crowd, and yet, I was most likely the most violent of them all. Being a preppy, girly type of female was not really what I had in mind. I was more of a tomboy, but with a minor amount of girly-ness.

Jasper smiled at the actions of the man. All of it seems new to him. He cleared his throat once and turned to him. "Uh, Hello, sir. Er, my name is Jasper Fritz, Victoria's-" he caught himself. What would he say?arms at his side, he raised his right hand for a shake.

MJ looked at them. She smiled once, making them see she's alright and went back to observing the street. She placed her head on her knees and her arms hugged her tight. At this position, she always felt comforted yet fragile.

"Dad," I began, "this is Jasper Fritz. He's, well, uh . . ." I had no idea how to say the rest of my sentence. Should I tell him that Jasper and I were together? That might not be the best idea. My dad and I have been seperated for years, and if he found out I was in a relationship without his authorization, well, I do not really know what would happen. My dad can be so unpredictable sometimes.

"Should we start dinner?" I asked. I tried backing up Victoria on this one. It was the least I could do for interupting her and Jasper on Half-Blood Hill. I had no idea that they were dating. She usually tells me that kind of stuff. Maybe we just have not had time for eachother lately. I have been hanging around Kai for a while, and Victoria has been with Alex, her friend, and most likely Jasper.

~ I'm thinking about taking a little trip to the underworld for this. I don't know how yet, but I'll figure something out. xD

~Hades awaitsXD How about having MJ abducted??

"Yeah. Dinner." he said. He looked back at Victoria's dad and tried to make out his expression. "Ello sir." he nodded curtly. He looked at Melina and nodded thanks. "If you need me to talk, I will, but I won't promise it will be not awkward." he mumbled to Victoria with a apologetic grin.

~ Yeah, sure. I'm up for something like that. I might make Melina "die," but then have Athena bring her back. I'll remind myself to PM Alec and ask him to RP as her. xP

~ I noticed Jasper's nod and did the same. It seemed like the both of us were getting along, despite the earlier incident. I pushed that thought out of my mind, and proceeded into the kitchen.

"I hope you all like pasta," Victoria's dad said. He set down a couple of plates and plopped the glob of food onto them. It smelled like it just came out of the oven, and the heat warmed my face until I felt my pores begin to open up.

I prayed a silent prayer to the gods--mostly to my mother--thanking them for the dinner. After that, I stuck my fork into the pasta and began to eat.

"So, uh, dad. How have things been at home?" I scanned the table as I spoke, which might have seemed a little rude. No one was at the table, so I suppose my dad has not met anyone special. Chase is probably at college, or hanging out with a few girls. Either way, I could care less.

Jasper sat on a chair, atleast next to Victoria. "He nodded at the right places and spoke when needed. He looked at Melina, Victoria and Connor. Three unlikely people to be friends right.

~ xD Whenever you're ready to go to the underworld just tell me. We should give it a little more time at Victoria's, though. They just got here. xP

~ I had just finished my dinner, and waited for everyone else to finish. The table seemed unusually quiet. The fact that MJ was still outside worried me. Was she alright? She could not possibly hold off everyone monster that comes at her all by herself, could she?

"Maybe we should go to my room," I suggested. The silence began to feel akward, and I was never capable of handling that kind of scenario. My father nodded his head yes, and I lead the group up the steps.

Following Victoria from behind, I glanced down at Jasper, and then out a window every time I passed one. MJ was still on the steps, keeping guard like she said she would. Hopefully she was okay, and no harm would come to her.

~ I fail when I make short posts like this one. xD

~I had worseXD

Jasper ascended quietly, thinking of too many things. He looked out the window and saw MJ sit ontop of the stairs. If she was alright, he didn't know. "Are you staying here for a couple of days more Melina, Connor?" he asked them. The idea of Connor staying here was creepy to him.

Monsters. That was what she thought as a man passed. The man looked like an old man, but his eyes were two different shades. She started for her daggers, but the monster seemed to ignor her completely. The man walked some more, passig her and walking ahead to an old building. Her old house. Looking back at her friends she thought of alerting them. But then again, they may be busy. She took out her daggers and stalked the monster, hiding behind the trashcans and avoiding detection. But it seemed like it didn't notice her. 'Hope this is the right thing' she thought.


~this is the start. No one notices her. Later on, Jasper will.

He raised his hands defensively. "That's not what I mean." he said wth an awkward chuckle. As thought back, he really had something hidden in his words. He didn't really realized it. "I was wondering if your going back to camp or sleeping over here." he laughed. He gave Melina a 'sorry' look. He intended to give Connor one, but the way he looked at him was oddly irritating and annoying. So he looked at him with a raise of an eyebrow. He looked back at Victoria, smiling at her attempt to sound Italian and chuckling when he saw her room. "Victoria, were these here before you left for camp?" he chuckled.

MJ raced to the abandoned building, both knives in hand. She approached the establishment without letting the man know of her prescence. 'Things never change.' she thought as she stepped on the first step of the stairs. Her breathing was low and her hands were clammy, but she still stalked the man, too late to turn around. She stepped with precaution, and the smallest noise made her jump. As the man opened the door, he looked back, and almost saw MJ. Good thing for her, she instictively hid in the shadows. The man looked confused for a while, but he brushed it off.

~How mayn posts do you think until they notice her gone? BTW, I think I'm liking ConnorXD

~ Whenever you want. I don't care anymore. You like my Connor? I thought you would. xD

~ "Nice place you have here, Victoria," I chuckled. She was definietly the tomboy I knew. She was a girly girl, too, but that part of her only applies with her clothing. Otherwise, if you tick her off, basically the smart thing to do is run.

"Yeah, I kind of forgot to put those away," I replied with a grin. "I'm suprised my dad still hasn't noticed them." I sat on my bed and crossed my arms behind my head. Well, now we were here. So now what? I guess I should plan things out before rushing into them . . .

I walked over to Victoria's bed and sat down a few inches away from where she was laying. I could not believe how long it has been since we had last seen eachother. It is unbelieveable. All this time I thought Melina and Victoria were kidnapped or something, but now I know that we are all the same.

~ I finally added a picture of Victoria to my signature. xD Three down . . . Three to go . . .

He chuckled. He leaned in the doorframe, not wanting to get into an awkward position with the others. Running his hand in his hair, he noticed from the window that MJ was gone from her place ontop of the steps. "Where is she now?" he asked yet amused. It wasn't the first time she was gone.

She had to scream. Not the girly scream, but the one of pain. As she stalked inside, someone ambushed her. Only then did she know it was a trap. "What are you doing?" she asked, looking at the man's eyes. But he only smirked."Good luck little hero." he said and covered her eyes, but didn't muffleher screams.
