Hephaestus Valentine's Box

A weathered looking oak box with steampunk style borders sits in the Hephaestus cabin. It's gears and dials are arranged decoratively, although it also looks like they are used to open the oak box.
"For valentines' letters to the Hephaestus cabin. Rotate dial hand to three to open."

I walked in proudly. I saw the box and fanned myself with my card. I turned the dial to three like it said to, then I dropped my card in. I hope Steven will get it, I thought.

I walked into the Hephaestus cabin and studied it. No one was here, so I figured they were probably at the armory getting ready for the next battle. I was unsure of when it was, but I had a feeling it was soon.

Pushing the thought out of my head, I turned the dial on the valentines box to three, like the note stated. It opened as soon as I did so, and I slipped the note that I had written to my boyfriend, Aaren Fowler, into the box. I hope he gets it, I thought.

Once I was finished, I quickly slipped out of the cabin and resumed my regular training activities.
