I'm Just Darren. {Private To Em/Zan}

I sit on one of the stone benches in the ampitheater, randomly making anagrans and stuff like that in my notebook. The sun was just starting to set; in a matter of a half hour, the ampitheater would be dark. It had been a relatively good day, despite the temperature. I wasn't cold, though. I had a purple fleece, zip-up hoodie on with a white Minnesota Vikings cap on, a AC/DC tshirt, and bright orange Adidas. I look up at the sky for a second, then turn back to my word-filled paper. I write a quick anagram: THE ANSWER- WASN'T HERE. I didn't look like a gay guy, or acted like one. But I was. Just nobody knew. Yet. But people had their suspicions.

Re-adjusting the strap on her shoulder, Victoria Strong slowly walked into the ampitheater awaiting what surprise her friends had in store for her. They had told her it was a cute guy and that she totally had to meet him, but Victoria had told them that she didn't date. Which was true. She really didn't date. She just wasn't into it. She thought it was cheesy and not worth her time. Her friends had also told her to wear something nice, which of course, she hadn't.

I look up from my for a second just notebook to see a girl. She was pretty, I could say that, but I wasn't attracted to her. I sigh for a moment and adjust my hat. I kept watching her, though. It was amazing that she didn't notice me, yet.

Victoria looked over, slowly noticing a guy sitting besides the benches. Rather, sitting on the benches. She made her way over to them and sat down next to him. She might as well try. "Hey." She said softly. She didn't like boys. She was fifteen and wasn't attracted to boys yet. She wasn't attracted to girls either.

I turn to see the girl had sat beside me. I put my notebook down on the side she wasn't on. "Hey," I reply to her in my semi-deep voice. Most gay guys have this high pitched voice, but I hit puberty already. Now that I saw the girl up close, I noticed she had sky blue eyes. Hm.

"I'm here against my will." She said nodding her head as she set her bag down beneath the bench. She looked him over before glancing up at the large clock with Roman numerals hanging on the wall. "I'm Victoria Strong, daughter of Nike."

"I'm Darren, son of Eris. You can either call me Darren or JJ. I dun care." I look around the ampitheater. If we weren't here, the Ampitheater would be deserted.

"Remind me again, who is Eris?" Victoria asked looking at Darren. She knew he was some kind of god or something. Possibly a glorified spirit. Maybe. She just couldn't place a finger on it.

"Eris is the goddess of strife and discord. And chaos. And my mom." I smile at the corner of my mouth and reach into my pocket. I pull out a golden apple about the size of my fist. I look at Victoria. "Y'know, her symbol is the golden apple."

"Oooh..." Victoria sighed, "that's so pretty." She said reaching out to maybe graze the golden, shiny surface with her fingtertips. It looked so irreristable.

"No no no," I say, pulling it away. "This is what my mom uses to control people and stuf." I roll it around in my hands. "Watch this." I mutter something quietly, then throw the apple far away. By the time it hit the ground, it had transformed into a golden bear trap. After a minute or two, it turns back into an apple and floats towards me. I look at Victoria. "Cool, huh? It could turn into virtually anything."

Victoria just stared at the apple until it was a bear. That snapped her out of her transe and she snapped as well, "Get that thing out of my sight before I do something to get it." Her eyebrows furrowed together for a moment and then she remembered to be nice.

~Should we just stop this 'cause you dun have Victoria?

((Oh...dammit. I forgot!! Dammit! Fail...yesh...))
