Raphaela Hurt

Subject: Raphaela Hurt Sat Jan 22, 2011 4:40 pm

I walked in to the Infirmary and put Raphaela down onto a bed. I walked over to a cupboard and pulled out a cup and some nectar. I carefully poured it until the cup was almost full. I walked back to Raphaela and gave her the cup. "Here drink this. It will your heal wounds unless they're pretty serious."

Raphaela eyed the cup. "Is that safe?" she asked. The liquid didn't look appetizing to her. It looked like her father's blood mixed with water. She caught a whiff of the content and she smell freshly baked brownies of her nanny. But still, she didn't drink it.

"Yes of course it is!" I told her. "Only if you drink to much it can be dangerous. But with your injuries this amount is safe. It will mostly heal your injuries and then I can rap your others up in bandages. Or I can get an Apollo kid to help."

Raphaela's vision was zooming in and out. "How can I trust you?" she asked her. She was very suspicious. Though she knew that her savior saved her, she still couldn't accept the fact that she was away from her dad.

I let that sink in. "Well you kinda have to. I'm the only person that can help you. Unless someone else comes. It's your choice." Of course she would be suspicious of a total stranger. It was obvious. By the looks of her if she didn't drink the nectar soon she wouldn't make it.

"Are you sure it'll make me better?" she asked groggily. Her vision was starting to fade and darkness threatened to win. Pain on her arm shocked her and made her cringe to the feeling. Her form started to change from physical to shadow. With the final hope of ending the suffering, she took the cup and emptied the contents in a small amount of time.

"Yes." I said bluntly. I watched her drain the cup. As I watched the injuries I could see were fading away. Leaving nothing behind. "Are there any remaining injuries you can feel?" I asked.

"No." she said. But she said too soon. As she moved her arm, the same shock happened but it wasn't as bad as the last. "Thanks." she said. She muffled a yawn and she tried hard not to sleep.

"You can go to sleep if you want." I told her. " I'll see what I can do about your arm. I might not be able to do much though. I'm not an apollo kid."

"Thanks." she said and yawned again. She laid down. She looked back at the girl. "You don't need to bother about me." she said, smiling.

"I can't just leave you all alone." I protested. "You just go to sleep." I went over to a cupboard and brought out some bandages. I walked back to Raphaela. "Sleep." I commanded her.

She need not to be told twice. "Okay." she mumbled and let her eyelids drop. Then, she drifted into a dreamless, peaceful sleep.

"Alright." I muttered to myself. I picked up the bandages and cut some off. I carefully wrapped it around Raphaela's arm. I tied a knot so the the bandage would remain in place. I settled down in a chair to wait for her to wake up.

Several hours passed and the color in her cheeks crept back to it's place. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked around confused. She jolted up, but the room began to spin. She moved her arm but found bandages on it. "Where am I again?" she asked. Then she remembered everything. "Ariane?"

"Here." I said. "You're in Camp Half-blood remember. You hungry?" Raphaela looked much better.

She nodded a little. "Yeah. Camp." she muttered. Just then, she remembered she was feeling quite hungry. "Food." she muttered and stood up.

"You don't have to go anywhere." I said. "I've got food right here." I gestured to the plate on the table next to me. "There's also water if you want it." I had expected her to be hungry. So I had gathered all I need.

She nodded to her greatfull. "Thanks." she mumbled. Using her good arm, she picked up a loaf of bread and began to bible the end. "So..." she started between bites. "You want some too?" she offered half or her loaf.

"No, I'm fine." I told her. "I already ate." it was true I'd had some fruit and bread. It had been really yummy. "Do you know who your godly parent is?" I asked.

"Yeah. Tanathos." she smiled weakly. She tore another piece. "You?", she asked. She was nice. Almost too nice but she liked her.

"Demeter." I said a little proudly. It was really cool being able to manipulate plants. "I can give you a tour of camp after you're done." I offered. She must have been hungry, the plate was almost empty.

"Okay." she said and hopped off the cot. "I'm done." she smiled and walked near her. She looked back at the plate. "Oh wait." she ordered a shadow to burn the remains. "Forgot to offer it."

"Alrighty then." I said with a smile. "Let's go!" I led Raphaela to the door. "First we'll start in the Cabin Courtyard." I said. "You can see all the cabins from there. As the daughter of a minor god you can live in Hera's cabin or the basement. It's your choice."
