Spin the bottle

People always ask me what to do when there is nothing to do. I mean, we already played truth or dare at the cabin, most of us went to the rave and some even had a car chase.
But hey it's me Vic, I always come up with ideas and as a son of Aphrodite I especially like my newest idea.
Spin the bottle at the beach.

So I went down to the beach, with a towel to sit on, a little table to spin the bottle on (yep spinning the bottle in sand isn't so easy) and of course the empty bottle.

I stood there alone and yelled "HEY EVERYBODY WHO IS IN FOR SOME SPIN THE BOTTLE?"

I didn't have to wait long for other people to come along.

I heard the guy shout. "I'm in for that," I say. I walk over to him and sit down. "Wheres the girls?" I ask.

I walk in and hear the person. I walk over to him. "Spin the bottle? Sure i'm in for it." I sit down and look at the boy. "Well I'm a girl. At least I hope I am."

I smiled as two people came along, which was still not enough for a good round of spin the bottle. "Hey guys I am Vic, who are you two?" I asked them. "Do you know more people who might want to join? Only three of us might be a little lame" I told them and laughed.

"Well it probably will be lame considering that I'll probably have to kiss both of you." I looked at both of them. "I'm pretty sure that someone else will come along." I lay on the ground and look at the sky. The sun shines in my eyes. I sit back up. "Ow..."

Mickey enthusiastically skips over to the beach. It was so boring sitting in the Hera cabin, doing nothing. She sees a group of people, curiously, she walks over to them and asks, "What's up?"

I look at the girl. "My prediction was right. We're playing spin the bottle." I say to her. "Wanna join in?" I ask her. If she said no, I wouldn't care. If she said yes, i'd think nothing of it.

"Err... sure," she said, as enthusiastically as possible. Mickey wasn't much of a fan of spin the bottle. She smiled, and joined everyone else.

I nod. "Okay, lets start by introducing ourselves." I look at them all. "I'm Rita Stone, daughter of Hecate." I wait for someone to introduce themself. Guntar waddles up to me and makes penguin noises. "This is Guntar. He's my penguin."

Making eye contact with everyone, Mickey stands up to introduce herself, "I'm Mickey," she said cheerfully, "Daughter of Urania, muse of Astronomy," she then sat back down, impatiently tapping her fingers as she waited for the next person to introduce them self.

I looked at the penguin and was amazed, that was something that never happened before, a kid with a penguin as a pet.
"Well I am Vic, son of Aphrodite, nice to meet you guys and of course you Guntar" I said as I laughed at the penguin.

Guntar swayed from side to side apparently dancing. I chuckled."Guntar what are you doing?"

"DANCING!!!"

"HOLY CRAP YOU CAN TALK!?!?"

"Rita!" she said, and added, "That's such a cute penguin! How did you get a penguin as a pet, anyways?" she asked, curiously.

She looked over to Vic, whom was many years older than her, and said, "Hey!"

She looked over to the cute penguin that was dancing. Penguins are so cute. Then the penguin said, 'Dancing'.

Mickey, with a stunned look on her face, asked, "What...?"

"I woke up and he was sleeping on my feet. Then I named him Guntar and now he's mine."

"MHM." I try to snap my fingers but nothing happens. "Oh ya im a penguin. I can't snap."

I sigh.

Mickey shuffled her feet awkwardly, "That's really weird," she said, in confusion. She shrugged, and a bright smile returned to her face. Still smiling, she asked, "Why'd you name him Guntar?"

I was at my favorate activity again,plummeting toward the beach,i landed harshly around a group of people.I get up and take off my sand-full goggles."Hey,whats up Im Sammy Sands,son of Icarus,quite ironic seeing that im full of sand!"I laugh violently."Huh? Yeah,you guys like that one?"I say enthusiastically.

"David Son of Athena," I told them. "So are we just going to talk about the penguin or play?" I ask. Not that the Penguin wasn't awesome though. I just wanted to play.

I stop dancing. "I'm gonna watch you kiss people okay?"

I walked with a slight swagger into the Beach. I saw giggling group of boys and chicks surrounding a bottle. Of course, the classic game of spin the bottle. I stalked by. "Whatcha doin?" I asked when I walked by. Of course I already knew what they were doing.

I wrinkled my nose at the penguin. "Sure, why not," I muttered as I sat down criss crossing my legs. I looked at everyone. Damn, no hot people. If someone landed on me, I'd do something special for them. I always had something up my sleeve.

"Ya lets start. You spin first David." I point to him. "Just make sure it lands on a girl." I can't help but snicker at what I said. It was stupid, but apparently necessary for me.
