I nodded.She walked forward,then put down Alex's pizza."Anything else?" She asked."Not for me.How bout you,Alex?"

"No, that's all," I said, and she walked away. I took a bite of my pizza, and then returned my attention to Ray. "So," I said, confuzed on what to say. I decided to let him talk this time.

I finished my pizza, and looked up at him again. "Should we just go for another walk?" I asked. I didn't know what else to do, so maybe another walk wouldn't hurt. I stared at him, waiting for him to respond.

I reached for his hand, and held it. We both strolled out of the pizza parlor, and onto the streets of New York City. As you probably already know, New York is one of the busiest citys there is, so there really isn't any place for two demi-god teenagers. "So... Where did you go to school?" I asked.

"In Philly.Some private school." I told her.I remembered it well.

I grew up in Virginia, and attended just a regular public high school. Preppy teenage girls, jocks, and all that," I replied. I remembered going to school like any other normal human being. Students harrasing the teacher, school fights, sporting events, prep rallys, everything. I've been at camp for two years now, so the memories are vague, but I can remember a little bit of it. The experiance, however, is what I miss the most.

"Yeah," I said. "I miss that life, too." I sqweased his hand in all my pain. If that stupid sphinx didn't attack my home, I'd still be able to live with my dad. He thought it was better this way, and I guess it is. I mean, he's safe, and I'm safe, right?

I smiled."Yeah..." I said.Then I realized it was late."We should get to camp,before the harpies come out."

I stopped walking, my hand still in his, noticing that we had ended up in some kind of forest. Probably the mist, I thought. It appeared to be the way back to camp, so maybe it was a shortcut, and we probably didn't even realize where we were going. I turned to him, and wrapped my arms around his neck, beginning a tight embrace.

I looked up at him with a green gaze, and smiled. Without noticing, I began to lean in closer, and closer to his face. Today wasn't really bad at all. I had alot of fun, and I hoped he did, too.

I pulled him closer to me, and returned the favor. Before I found out I was a demi-god, I was apart of the "popular" crowd, so I had a numerous amount of boyfriends in the past. However, Ray was the best. Atleast he was sensative, and not shallow. I pulled away from him, my arms still around him. "Thank you for today," I said, kissing his cheek; smiling.

I reached for his head and combed through his hair. "Ray," I began. "I'm just curious. What were you like before you came to Camp Half-Blood?"

I smiled at him. "You can tell me," I insisted, giving him an expression that I meant it. I judge people on their personality, and what kind of person they are now. I don't dwell on the past.

I placed my hand on his cheek. "That's fine," I said in a cheerful voice. "You know, I used to be apart of the "popular" crowd." I regreted being apart of them. Nasty people. Too much hate for teenagers.
