"Alright then. Wait here I told her," I told her. When I came back I was with a girl closer to my age. "Well get started," I tell Abby.

I finished eating, "This isnt going to end well" I muttered.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Abby and David outside, all the other times they've been outside and away from us its been the same" I said, Aarons eyes widened a bit, "Yep, I bet thats what will happen" I said, "Lets go"

I got up and put all our dishes in the sink, then we left, saying good bye to Parkers dad, we walked out, and headed for the motel, the likely place, "If your right, Im fed up with this kid right now"

"You sure we should be checking the motel?" I asked, then I saw a fmiliar face in one of the windows, David, "Yep, you were right" I muttered ruefully.

"Aren't I fricken always?" I pitched out with smug attitude, "Soo, shadow travel in eh? Whatever" I said, grabbing Parker's arm and disapearing, landing on the edge of the bed, falling off, but Parker was still on it, stupid karma.

"So, how much more does she need?" I asked in a dead tone, staring at David.

I stayed staring out the window as they arrived. "How much?" I repeat the question "None. She's done for today," I tell them. I turn around. "Anything else I can do for you?" I ask.

I give both of them a serious look. Then I start laughing. "Well maybe her guardian angels should do a better job of stopping things like this. Last time you were throwing rocks. What was it this time?" I ask.

"Hey hey hey, that was good bacon, and we got a bit of revenge on ya, we ate all your bacon" I said, leaning against the room door.

I jumped over to their side of the bed, landing in front of David, I was taller than him, like, it seemed like a lot taller, "So, are you planning anything else with Abby?" I asked, "Because I'd love to ask her out on a date, but your kind of in the way until you release your power over her"

I looked Parker in the eye, unflinching. I thought for a second. "Abby. If Parker here asks you on a date, then give whatever answer you would give him under normal circumstances. If you say yes then drop whatever your doing and go with him. That's an order," I say not tearing my gaze from Parker. "Does that solve your problem? She can go on the date.... If she wants to," I say walking towards the door.

I got back on my feet in front of the door, knowing Parker was still thinking on his response to be cool and all about it, I stopped David and nodded back towards Parker.

"you forget she cant show preference, even if you order her too, she cant, its in the laws of the spell" I muttered, looking out the window without focus, then I sat back on the windowsill and faced David

I thought. "I don't really care. I just want the money. And she can't show preference than I order her to go on the damn date. I don't care. We all know she wants to don't you?" I ask Abby.

I resisted the urge to go and punch him, "Either way, Im planning on taking her on a date, but I'd be much happier if she didnt have to answer to you after it, it makes me feel like a jerk"

I stopped and considered Parker's proposal. "No. I'm not giving up control. You won't make me either. I'll have my fun. Then you can have what's left," I tell him.

I turned back to Parker, and he nodded knowingly, then I opened the window and jumped out onto the snow, lucky we were on the 1st story of this, 1 story motel, "Up the you Aaron, I cant take this little asshole's stupidity any longer" I muttered, then headed back to the cabin in the woods.

I turned to David, "Way to go shitface, you've done the impossible, you broke Parker's spirit of Balance, and basically rendered him powerless and missionless, so he bailed, you've temporarily ruined his life, and I pray to the gods when he comes back he rips you apart", and I didnt budge from the door either.

"Whatever," I say. The only thing that had gotten my attention was the stupidity remark. I wasn't an idiot. The rules said I couldn't tell Abby to kill her self. They didn't say anything about wounding though.

I blinked I had never seen Parker so upset and it was over me! The full moon would be coming soon and on that night I could finally break free!

I wasn't realy paying attention to Aaron or Abby. I was thinking about how I could get Parker out of the picture. There were plenty of ways to do it. He'd be dumb enough to walk into any trap where Abby was the bait. But that's when Aaron would become a problem.
