Going To Dinner with my Girl {Private}

I nod. "I once got kicked out of an Eagles game because my mom threw something at Michael Vick."

I think for a second, then reply, "My brother died of a car accident when I was six. He was 17."

"Oh gods . I'm so sorry ." I looked from him, to the table, and finally to my hands.

I wave my hand dismissively. "I dun care. Your turn."

I nod understanding. I look around the resturant, and I see the waitress carrying our pancakes and waffles to our table. I smile as she hands me my Dessert Cakes and Dylan her waffles. She leaves, and I look down, wide-eyed. "Holy Zeus! Look at this!" I say, looking back and forth from Dylan to the pancakes.

I take a huge bite, and my face lights up. "Tis is gud!" I exclaim. It was supposed to be 'This is good!' but with the food in my mouth.

I laughed between bites as I watched him attack the pancakes."Don't worry . I believe you."

I swallow my food, then laugh. "How's your waffles?" I take another huge bite of my breakfasty goodness. My foot starts tapping on the floor idily. That's ADHD for you.

I laughed and swallowed . "Really good. I would ask you, but I think I already know what you'll say." I glanced around the diner then back at him.

I laugh. I look down at my plate to see something oozing out from the center. "Oh my gods, is that CARAMEL?!" I start shoving caramel covered piecess into my mouth.

I looked up to see his eyes get wide with amazement. I glance down and see why he was freaking out. Laughing, I wonder how extemely hyper he would be. I smile and look back at him.

I swallow and smile back at her. She was pretty. Really pretty. And she was my first 'real' girlfriend, too.

Glancing around, most of the people around us had left. I honestly hadn't noticed. I ran a hand through my hair to move it out of my soft gray eyes. Ollie seemed kinda lost in thought. I took a sip of my Coke, wondering what he was thinking about.

After a while, my pancakes start to 'magically disappear'. I guess I ate them or something...I dunno. I nod towards Dyl's waffles. "You done?"

"Yup." I reply with a smile. My waffles were really good, but obviously I would have to get desert pancakes. Only to see if they were as amazing as he said.

"Awesome," I say, grinning. The waitress comes to our table and asks if we want the check. I say, "Sure," and the waitress walks away. In a minute or so, she returns and sets the bill on the table.

I laugh. "Some are. Like Zan. Me, I'm practically the total opposite." I grin at her.

"Different is good. 'Sides, Zan kinda scares me and I've never actually met her." I said with a laughtt. "Oh. And you should let me pay." I look at him and smile.

I stick my tongue out and roll my gray eyes at him. Just wait. "I'll find a way to repay you." I say with a sly smile.
