Just... uhh... putting that out there.

He is right that you can't godmod/power play. You can't directly say that someone is turned to stone. You can say things like "I point my petrifying shield in Chronik's direction, hoping that he might turn to stone" though.
Don't let anger cloud your judgement. Just because someone is rude, doesn't mean the things they say are completely invalid. Everyone and the things they say have value.

I terms of this shield, I am going to have to side with Katie on this one. You've just made too many loopholes for this to be believable.
For one thing, how did this shield that was not previously mentioned suddenly appear? How on earth did meld eyes into a shield? When did you fight Medusa? How did you come up with this magic potion? How did you figure out that sunglasses block the petrifying effect?
If you insist on having this shield, I suggest you come up with more solid explanations for its abilities, as well as some drawbacks. As of now, you are godmodding

I walk in too see some campers i go and find an empty space to practice with my new crapy sword i have since i cant find my other powerful and deadly one *dragon*. i hold the bronze sword and i slash at three dummies at once. i was a very very skilled swordsman but i was horrible with a bow. i go and slash 6 more and didnt even break a sweat. some people started to stare in either amazment of horror. i felt weird and left to my cabin. cabin 3

I came back to find that person who yelled and told me not to go i looked and yelled "PHOBE!!!"

i turn. " YEAH?! what do want?" i ask

I rush the dummy closest to me, flipping over it and stabbing it in the back. The edge of the blade sprouts from it's chest.
