Erin's First Day at Camp

I enter the cabin quietly, afraid of making any enemies. I close me eyes and whisper to myself. "Erin, your dad is someone great, this shy person isn't you. Get out there and grab their attention." I calm myself by saying that and step through the door. "Hi," I say sweetly. "I'm Erin, daughter of Eros." I bat my eyelashes to add effect, but it doesn't work as well, since I'm carrying a huge duffel bag.

I sat on my bed polishing my celestial bronze dagger when I heard someone walk into the cabin. I jerked my head to where they were standing when I noticed it was a girl. I walked over and said, "Hey, I'm Victoria Murphy, daughter of Nike," I said offering my hand, waiting for her to shake it.

I look at the girls hand and shake it. I put my duffel bag down on my new bed and smile. "Any others?" I ask politely, wondering if I have any siblings of my own.

I looked up from my bunk bed."I'm her half-sister." I said answering her question. I'd been sitting on my bunk polishing my spear. It was now in its bracelet form. It was shaped like a laurel fo obvious reasons.
