A Fight or Just Practice?

"Hey!" she said cheerfully, and added, "What's it like to be a huntress?"

"I can't believe you dragged me out of the cabin. I was just getting to the good part of the book." Jason complained as he and Jordan walked into the the arena.

Jordan rolled his eyes. "I wasn't about to lay in the bunk and watch you read."Jordan looked over, and noticed the group talking. "Hey, I wonder if we can practice with them?" Without waiting for an answer from his brother, he took a step in their direction, and Jason reluctantly followed.

"Hey" the twins greeted them.

Again, Mickey introduced herself to the two people who entered the arena, "I'm Mickey, daughter of Urania," she said, slashing a dummy.

"Nice to me you!" Jordan smiles. "We're sons of Janus."

"Janus," I say, seemingly appearing out of thin air, "isn't he a roman god not a greek one?"

"Okay," Mickey replied, "Janus, Janus... who's he again?" she asked.

Jason finally spoke up with his text book type answer. "Yeah, our dad is know as a Roman god, but he was around during the Greek period too. He is the god of doorways, beginings and endings, and choices."

"That's cool," she said, "Urania's the goddess of astronomy"

"Cool!" Jordan said, "You must know a lot about the stars then."

"Nice to meet you Leo and Yume." Jordan replied.

Jason just smiled awkwardly. It was hard for him to talk in front of girls.

"Yeah..." I replied to Jordan, "I want to be an astronomer when I grow up!"

In a small flash of light a spear appears in my hand and is hovering near the neck of this Yume girl, "I thought you'd never ask," I say.

I toss a sword, which also fairly suddenly appears, to Hanna, "there you go," I say without taking my eyes off of Yume.

"Nah. I don't think I stand I chance," she admitted.

I roll my eyes as the sword disappears in a flash of light. I turn towards Yume and say, "well... I'm waiting." getting in a ready stance.
