I glared at Vic. "I think the proper term is fury. Swooped down on us. We used our resources, like stuff left on the street. Then, faint, white wings, like an angel's, appeared on Vic's back, and she flew us out of there. I think it's still following us, but I don't know"

"What?" I looked above me. It was a picture of a golden trophy, but the handles were replaced with wings. The exact wings that sprouted from my back in the battle.
