Hearing the blatant lie as I watched Tyler's hair flare up, I narrowed my eyes. "I see." I said, turning to go but brushing past Tyler before I left and glancing at the other guy - you know, the one who lied - out of the corner of my eye. "He was lying. Watch out." I said through my teeth with practiced near-inaudibility, Tyler would be the only person who heard me - which was good. He would know what to do.

No, I'm kidding. Ace's a weird guy. He had some other name before Ace but he thought it was dorky, so he changed it to something "cool" when he was like, 15 or so.

I heard Melinda who had spoken softly, and winked at her, unnoticed by anyone else.
"But of course," I began, my eyes locked on Kris. "How strange of me to butt in, but I noticed that beforehand, your hands seemed to be completely dry." I said, my voice on the verge of a mocking yet joking tone, my eyes shining.

~ I actually like Ace's name. xD Unique-ness FTW.

"Crack? Me? Among all people.." I shook my head in disapproval, rather dramatically of course. "No, no. I'm not on crack." Smirking, I added, "I'm on candy. Close enough though." With that, I dug into my bag's front pocket. It had to be in here. I bit my lower lip, feeling for the item blindly. Then I came upon a familiar sensation; the crunching of plastic. Ha, got it.
Producing the plastic bag filled with gummy delicacies, I held it out with an outstretched arm. "Take some. Don't worry, it's not poisonous. You might even get an extra dose of awesomeness because it's from me."

Or maybe she only slightly saw through the lie... and decided to tell someone about it. I honestly don't know, I'm not Crispy, but maybe that's what she was implying. Decisions, decisions... (this would be me trying to make it so I don't have to edit my post. xD)

~ Let's think realistically (or... as realistically as you can when discussing demigods) -- seeing as demigods have ADHD, they tend to notice everything around them all at once when something happens, so statistically speaking, they would be able to see him wetting his hands. And seeing as Mel can sense lies when heard, it seems pretty reasonable that she, out of all people, would notice it. (:

(Im not arguing the fact that she would be able to figure it, but Im pretty sure I wrote 'wet his hands unnoticably' or something along those lines, another power he has is stealth, and hes good at it, since he sat like 20 feet away in a chair and no one noticed him.
