With my car keys in my hand, and a back pack slung over my shoulder, I open the door to the beach side condo. I throw my bag down on a chair, and open the sliding glass doors that open onto the sandy shore. I grab a coke from the nearly empty fridge, pop it open, and kick back on a lounge chair, thinking about how nice it was to have a coke with out being in trouble. I started college in a week, at one of the Hawaii universities. I was gonna party this week, and enjoy the bit of freedom I have.
