A Gentlemen's Offer (private)

I led Ash to the river, which was slightly more of a creek. "Rivery enough, I suppose," I said chuckling.

'Robert! You silly boy, what are you doing?' I heard my mother ask my little borther.

'Mommy, I wants to pay in the wiver,' he said in his childish voice.

'Ok, but on- Oh Gods Robert get away from the river come with Mommy, please, please no, NO!' she screamed as her impending doom came upon her.

I visibly lashed out the illusion, slicing rapidly with my knife at the beast that didn't exist. 'DAMNIT!" I yelled, throwing the blade into a nearby tree.

I sighed shakily and stumbled over to the tree, slumping to the ground as I sat and faced her. "N-nothing... it-it doesn't really m-matter," I told her, my voice coming out uneven. This vision was more real than the others, more... alive.

I smile and relax at her touch slightly. "I have severe Post Traumatic Stress syndrome. I was on a mission in Egypt, tracking a target assigned by Olympus, when they went into a pyramid. We followed, my team and I. All my greatest friends, and... more. A huge... thing, like a man, but with a pyramid for a head stalked us and killed us one by one in gruesome ways. I was the last survivor, and killed the beast, taking no hits, but losing my sanity. I eventually found the target and butchered him, over and over. I was nursed back to health by my mother, but then she left with my little brother for a walk and was killed by a similar creature to the one I killed. I... I just saw the latter scene here. I see illusions," I told her, sighing, knowing she'd leave.

I smile and squeezed her hand, touched she wanted to help. I sighed and looked in her eyes. "Well, I think you're helping quite a bit any way. But, if you wouldn't mind just being here for me," I asked.

I kissed the top of her head and stroked her hair. "Thank you," I whispered

I smiled, and tilted her chin upwards. "I think I love you to," i said, before gently kissing her.

I rested my hands on her sides and kissed her back eagerly, kissing down her neck.

I smiled, in my thin ghost-like manner. "Then don't," I said simply

I cupped her face. "I've never been one to take advantage of someone when they're not sure about something," i told her gently

I held his hands against my face, soaking up the warmth. My brow wrinkled, and I felt like I wanted to kiss him, and hold him, but was it right?

I smiled and cupped her face, stroking her cheek gently with my thumb.

I swing a leg off of him, and wish I wasn't bound to a goddess. I sigh, "I'm sorry." I tell him, and get up. I walk away, and hope I'd see him around.

I shrugged, getting up and walked down the forest.
