I kick a few rocks around, and long for something to happen, to see something. More accuratly to see someone. Kennedy. I hadnt seen her in a while. What ever happened. I sigh deeply, and see a glimmer of golden blonde hair. I spin around and see a girl, waiting by the Aphrodite cabin. I walk over, and give her a flirtatious smile. "What's a beauty like you doin' 'round here?" I ask her, my blue eyes caressing her face.

I look up and blush. "Well," I said looking the boy carefully up and down, "I knocked a little bit ago. No one's answered." I liked what I saw. "I just got here," I explained, tracing the letters on my necklace. "One minute I'm normal and then the next I'm a half blood."

OOT: Mwa! Mwa! Thank you! Devynn has been waiting for a while...

I lean up against the door frame and look at the sky. I make a flash of lighting streak across the horizon, and the blue of the sky get darker, more mysterious. I look back at her. "Why dont you just go in?" I ask, thinking, Why be polite, they are, after all your siblings.

% fear no more!!! is that how you spell horizan, i should know how since we get that type of milk, but currently we are out!!

I felt stupid, but didn't show it. "Well, I don't even know them."

I laugh and with my thumb brush a strand of hair from her face, letting my hand linger on her cheek bone. I drop it just as impulsivly I had lifted it. "Who cares if you dont know them, they are gonna meet you sometime." I say smiling. "But, I guess first impressions count." I didnt believe that, not one bit. I thought, To hell with making impressions, If they dont like who I am from the get-go, thats their problem.

OOT: i can tell. just so you know, from this moment on, i am giving you the silent treatment until you take the freakin credit for the forum.

BIC: I let him brush my hair back, feeling like I am at the top of the world. "You're right." I say, and before I can think about it I whirl around and fling open the door. "Everyone," I exclaim, "I am Devynn and I am your newest sibling!"

There is silence. I take a deep breath. "It's empty," my voice comes out sounding strangled, and in the next moment I am doubled over cracking up.

"Thats it!" I say to her as she flings the door open, I look over her shoulder to find the cabin empty. "Oh." is all I get out before I am choked by the laughter bubbling up to my mouth.

BIC: I straighten up, my face red. "Well, so much for that glimpse of my bravery."

"It was very heroic." I say bowing gallantly to her. I stand for a moment, looking back at the sky, and then out of sheer instinct, I grab her hand, and pull her down the steps. I start walking. "Want me to show you around, not that you have a choice." I say after a moment, and I grin at her, devilishly charming.

"My mom dropped me off." I tell her simplt no beating around the bush. "It was just like that, when I was 11, my mom just said, oh guess what, your dads a greek god, and dropped me here." I say, smiling. I forget the idea about the canoeing, and decide just to sit here, right in the strawberry fields.
