I sat on the sand looking at my composition notebook with my pencil in my hand as I wrote the lyrics down on the paper humming the tune.

I seen someone on the beach, walking over I sat down, and looked over his sholder, "Whacha doing?" I asked

I jumped about three feet in the air dropped the notebook. "Holy . . ." I breathed as soon as I saw a girl and not another demigod bully to come and torture me.

I rised an eyebrow, and laughed, my redish brown hair seemed to shine brighter orange in the sun. I smiled and shook my head, "Hello"

"Hi." I said collecting my things.

I smiled and handed him his stuff, but looking at the notebook. Studying it, trying to read it, 'Stuipd, horriable non reading thingy' was All that stuck to my head, my dylexia was a very bad case. I bit my lip so hard, trying not to sreacm.

I snatched the book from her hands, "I don't think you should read that."

I sighed, "Couldn't if I tried" I said sadly, my birght eyes sad

"Alright, if you really want." I sighed, I looked at the notebook and began to sing:

I didn't realize my eyes were closed when I finished my voice's ring still rang out.

I looked at him for a moment, before I giggled, "Your good" I said smiling

I blushed a deep red. "Thanks..."

I shruged, "I can't even read much" I said frowning

"Well, neither can I." He said shrugging as well. His hair fell in his eyes and flipped it away like a skater would. With his milky complexion and his dark brown eyes he looked odd with his bleached blonde hair.

You might expect his hair to be dark brown or black since he's a child of darkness and shadow but it's bleached. He did it while rebelling against his mother.

He looked kind weird, not in a bad way, but his hair was not that color, 'maybe I should die my roots' I thought off topic, 'short people die there roots, tall poeple, the end of there hair' was what I had noticed, Idk why. ADHD I guess

Gerard gave her a weird look but just laughed. "Erm . . . ok?" He looked her over, kind of pretty but she looked like she was Zeus kid. One thing he noticed with Zeus kids was that they tend to be arrogant.

Like how Ares kids were mean, Aphrodite's kids were soft and nice, Athena's kids were smart, Poseidon's kids were brave but had tempers, Hades' kids were pessimistic, Hermes' kids were funny, and Artemis's Hunters were kinda intimidating.

"Are you a daughter of Zeus?" He asked thoughtfully.

I nodded, "Who are you?" I asked smileing

"What does that mean?" He asked with a slightly confused expression written on his face.

I shook my head, "Your parnet?" I replied

"Oh . . . uhh . . . does it matter?" He asked not wanting to say who his god parent was. Most people found it scary and frightening.

I nodded, "Yes, to me it, does, I want to know" I said looking at him, using my puppy dog face, only truly heartless people, Treston, and Roxanne could refuse it. My bright blue eyes glowed, and my pink lips, pouted

"Erebus." He said looking up at her eyes. They were a sky blue like a daughter of Zeus. "The god of Darkness and Shadow."

I jumped and smiled, "Oh!, Like my friend is like, daughter of Nyx, like night and stuff, and she's like all happy, and peppy, but can be all 'Balh Blah Blah' stuff, about things I DO NOT understand" I started rambleing, having no probmel with his dad. Or darkness, Easier to sneak in.

Gerard was startled by her outburst. "Calm down hon." He laughed softly.

I sat back down and smiled, thinking wildly, I SO had to think Vinny for the cookies. MAN! I. Love. Cookies. "OK..." I said distent

"Yep." He said utterly bored.
