I walked into the musty stables and took a deep breath in. The smell of the horses and pegusi calmed me. After a fierce debate with some of my cabin mates about using paper bags or bringing your own bags to the grocery store (children of Athena can make a debate about almost anything) I decided to take a walk and had somehow ended up here. My favorite Pegasus who I had recently adopted, Erebos, neighed as I approached him. I smiled and grabbed a saddle and saddle blanket along with the reins, and began to tack him up. Erebos had dark black hair, a pure white mane and midnight black wings. He's named after Erebos the God of shadows and darkness, which is fitting since he's almost all black. After I quickly finished tacking him up I lead him to the trail. I hoped on and began to ride, the warm summer air brushing against my face.
