I tried to smile, but it didn't seem genuine. I tried over and over again.

I pushed my arm in my stoumach. It made a dull pain feeling, like geantly pressing a bruise. "You can fake emotian" I said simply. My bright green eyes deep and slightly darker. My face still had I small grin, but sadish.

I frown, "When I frist got to camp I learned I could controll shadows," I lifted a hand and a shadow moved over and circled around my hand, "Well I pushed it and made a blade out of it, and lose control It came towards me and cut me", I sat up and lift my shirt half way up show the bottom of my ribs, but mostly the thin pinkish scar that cut from the bottom left to the to of the right hip, across my whole torso, "I almost died, didn't try it again for a mounth, didn't smile for a long time, until a had a dream, of.... a old friend," I choked out the last word, "Told me to let it go and be happy I'm still here"

I shook my head, and smiled but wanted to slap myself at the same time. I stood up. and walked to the edge of the creek, 'Jump right in, do think about it' ehcoed in my head, I took a deepo breath and in one quick movement jumped into the icy water

I watched as Colby jumped into the lake and gushes of water flew everywhere, I use my hands as a shield.

I came back to the surface, My hair flat agisnt my hand my eyes wide and teethcheaclh and bared, breathing through my mouth, I gripped the bank, gasping.

I see commotion going on in Colby's face, "U-um, are you okay?!" I stammer freaking out, " I swim to her not touching her but trying to position my face over her face.

I sighed, I must of looked like a cat dip in water... I nodded, breathing deeply as a few chills raced up and down my spine cause me to shake a little, "I. Hate. Cold. Water" I choked out Suspect

I sighed through my nose and took her hand into mine. I swam to the shallow part of the lake and walked to the edge.

I frowned, as I got to shore, moving my hand from his, I sat on the ground, the warm air felt so good. I rung my hair out but it didn't do much god, so I unbraided it.. "You may countuie your swimming in that horrablie water" I said frowning

I shake my head. I walk to a nearby rock where I left my towel on and I pick it up. I walk back to Colby and give it her. "Here, take it," I offer holding it out in front of her.

I take the towal, "Thanks" I said wrapping myself in the towal. "I really want Arron right now" I muttered smiling

"My friend the one that heats up like a oven, son of Apollo" I said fouced on the warmth of the towal.

I raise my eyebrows in amusement, "Interesting," I say. Right then and there I felt a slight breeze fly by me. A shiver was sent down my spine. "Did you want to go someplace warmer?" I ask her hoping she'd say yes so I didn't have to to leave her here all alone.

I looked up and nodded, I handed the towal back to him, I willed a shadow to form around me like a cloak, It didn't get me dry, but was warmer. "Where to" It seemed weird being in a dark cloak.

My eyes stay fixated on her cloak, but I remembered that we needed to find a place where can get warm. I rapidly blink my eyes and shake my head, "Do you think that the Mess Hall would be open this late?"

I smiled, "Nope" I said happily, but grabbed his arms and secounds later we reappered in front of the messhall. I walked in looking around to make sure no one was here then walked over to a table and kicked back closeing my eyes for a few moments. Shadow traveling tends to drain your enegrey, but I had been working on it.

The last thing I remember was that Colby grabbed my arm and that was it. We later arrived in front of the Mess Hall. I stumble and almost fall using Colby's arm to get back up. It felt weird considering I'm 6'4" and she probably wasn't as nearly as tall as me.

I stublmed, This guy was taller thn Treston, I was only like 5'4 I was short for my age. I stoood up, "You ok?" I asked My cloak seeming to just fade away
