| I frowned, my feet dangling below me. I sat silently in a tree, watching people and creatures pass by. They all seemed so...happy. I scowled, crossing my arms. My black eyes seemed dazed, as though they were somewhere else. I simply shook away my thoughts, not really wanting to deal with them at the moment. I wanted to say I didn't know why I was angry. But the upsetting thing was...I knew exactly why I was angry. I shook my head, my messy black hair flying this way and that. I fiddled boredly with my bracelet, which was also my sword Arsen. I took the elastic, black band off my wrist and it turned into my celestial bronze sword. I ran my fingers across the Greek engravings on the blade. I sighed, turning Arsen back into a simple bracelet. I glanced around from my tree, wondering if anyone was near. | |
