Years in Camp: jasper has been attending camp half blood off and on for the past five years. normally he tries to attend camp in the summers, but he's run into trouble a few times here or there and he's found himself at camp.
Brief History: when she graduated from high school eliza harris got the hell out of dodge and as far as way from her family she could. she'd grown up in a wealthy southern family and although she'd gotten everything she ever asked for she was under immense pressure to excel and she hated it. so as soon as she got the chance, she left and never looked back.

she'd already been accepted as a political science under grad at the University of North Carolina so she found a job at a local restaurant and worked her way through college. she never intended to date anyone, let alone have a one night stand. but one night when she was working a handsome brunette with the prettiest blue eyes she'd ever seen sat down in front of her and she couldn't help but return his flirting. and before she knew it, her mystery man was gone and she was left feeling used. so she tried her best to put it behind her, but then she discovered she was pregnant and things changed.

eliza cut back on her classes, and picked up more shifts at the diner eventually buying a new apartment where she could raise her son. and although things were difficult, she made it work and eventually she returned to school when jasper was five. and it took some adjusting, and the boy had to cope with coming home to an empty apartment but they got used to it.

however when eliza met derek cole, things got better for their family. she was never overly fond of her new husband, but he provided a safe home for jasper and that was all she ever wanted. and eventually they brought two daughters of their own into the world, which jasper had a hard time adjusting too but once he did there's not one thing he wouldn't do for his sisters.

a real family gave jasper the chance to open up, and become a social person. and this lead to trouble because when one gets caught in the popular crowd chances are something is going to happen and naturally it ended up with jasper bullying a kid. little did he know the kid with the limp was actually a satyr but it wasn't until he was in the principles office with the threat of expulsion hanging over his head he learned the truth. and something clicked, and his mom shipped him off to camp.

he comes and goes as he pleases but he always finds his way back to camp because it's the one place where he feels appreciated, because as nice as his parents might be he knows his step-father holds resentment towards him.
Physical Appearance: jasper cole is a very attractive person and he puts a lot of effort into making sure those around him notice it. his brown hair has natural caramel colored high lights that are extremely noticeable during the summer months. on the average day, jasper's hair is rather messy it usually goes just past his ears where it ends in a rather uneven fashion. he is known to spend several minutes styling his hair so it looks like he just rolled out of bed. however whenever he's required too look nice he will use gel to style his hair.

he has large, bright blue eyes that could be described as the color of the sky before a storm comes. and due to his parentage, whenever there is any type of storm or the sky is just cloudy, his eyes change colors to reflect what is going on in the sky.
Personality: jasper was raised to care for himself and he's learned that the one true way to look out for yourself is to not care about anyone else, and that's exactly what he's done. he's not a monster but unless he has to he's not going to take time to help others, and he's not going to let himself grow close to anyone. because when you're close with someone chances are you'll end up hurt and alone and that's the last thing he wants to happen.

truth be told, jasper can be a bit childish at times he's rather selfish and extremely stubborn. he has a hard time admiting his wrong and often it leads to him picking a fight, still desperately trying to prove that he's right. it's like he's trying to prove himself to someone, or make them proud by showing that he's the best. naturally this has lead him to become quite short tempered, so it's not uncommon to see him clenching his fists, storming away or even yelling at people.

once you break past jasper's cold exterior, you find a boy who's actually a very compassionate person he's just too afraid of being hurt to let anyone get close enough to see it. he's afraid that if people see how nice he is, they'll make fun of him. he's also paranoid that he'll end up hurt- just like what his father did to his mother.

Claimed: Yes, Trace was claimed his first night of camp. It was a few hours after arriving. When he arrived at camp, he knew nothing about greek mythology so he spent his first few hours learning more. When he read about Apollo, he knew the god had to be his father.

Brief History:  Trace lived a good but extremely sheltered life, even for a demigod. His parents were always afraid of what could happen if he got caught up in the wrong crowd, they worried about potential monster attacks. So to keep him safe, the boy's parents encouraged him to channel his time into his musical skills, and let's just say he was good no great. The boy was extremely talented, and he taught himself to play many instruments. He also became very interested in musical theater, and joined a community theater group which he just loved.

Trace's parents kept him very sheltered, so he was never really exposed to the things that normal kids his age would get involved in. At school, he kept to himself and only really talked to the kids in the arts department, even then he could only consider one of them to be a real friend, a boy named Topher. Topher was the only person who ever seemed to care about or notice Trace outside of play practice or band. They had an interesting friendship, here was Trace the sheltered musical prodigy, and then there was Topher the kid who sat through band and goofed off, never taking it seriously. Needless to say it was pretty odd that these two could be friends.

On May 30th three years ago, Trace's life changed for ever. He and Topher were walking home from school, when they were attacked by a monster. Needless to say, Trace was a bit shell shocked and he sort of stood there very confused. But that's when Topher came in, it was amazing really out of no where the boy seemed to gain these amazing fighting skills, and a weapon He killed the creature, and then grabbed Trace's life and ran. After stopping to get clothes, Trace was rushed off to camp. He was very confused at first, but he eventually began to understand. He has been attending camp every summer for three years now.
Physical Appearance: Trace has short cut blond hair, that appears to be gold in the sunlight. His hair is perfectly styled, not a stray hair on his head unless of course he wants it to look that way. You can tell that he likes to keep his appearance nice. He is usually clean shaven, but a few times he'll be a bit lax and let a day or two's stubble grow. His stubble is never very noticeable because of how light it is.

Trace has bright colombia blue eyes. His eyes are wide, and they always give the impression that Trace is a very curious person. His eyes clearly reflect his emotions, and you can tell when he's upset by looking at them. His vision isn't the greatest, in fact he has to wear glasses. His glasses are a pair of thick black Ray-Bans, however he prefers to wear contacts so you usually don't see him in glasses unless it's the middle of the night.

Trace is in outstanding shape, weighing a perfect one hundred and forty pounds for his five feet, ten inches. A lot of his weight comes from lean muscle built up from running. He cares about his weight, and he watches what he eats so he won't gain large amounts of weight. This doesn't mean he starves himself, or that he's on a diet, he just won't eat two large helpings of fries and a burger, or an entire steak at one meal. He has bronzed skin, that looks like he spends a lot of time in the sun, when it's actually almost natural. As a son of Apollo, he's been blessed with a perfect tan and not being able to burn. He also has perfectly pearly white teeth.

Personality: Trace is a quiet boy, who does his own thing and tries very hard to not disturb other's or get in the way. He is extremely friendly, always saying hello to whoever he sees. He is usually seen with a smile on his face, it's rare to see him without one. Yet, Trace has a hard time holding conversations with people. He's often quite unsure what to say, and he usually ends up getting nervous which leads to adverting his eyes, biting his lip, stuttering, even tapping his foot.

Trace is a very neat person, everything has to look absolutely perfect. He's actually a bit obsessive compulsive when it comes to making sure everything is in order. And everything includes his closet being color coded, all of his books in order by Dewey decimal system, stuff like that. When he stuff isn't in order, or when other's stuff isn't in order, it gives Trace anxiety. That being said he often gets the need to clean, especially if he sees a mess. Also like many people with OCD, Trace has to complete tasks. If he doesn't complete a task, it drives Trace to the point of pulling out his hair and having a panic attack. These tasks can range from counting to a certain number to cleaning his bunk.

Trace is extremely naive, and he is very unaware of a lot of the problems going on in the world today. Not to mention he is very naive to a lot of the activities people his age are into. That being said, Trace is fairly adventurous and he quite enjoys trying new things. He just wants to make the most of life, which would involve taking a risk every now and then.

• Television. Considering he spent most of his time focused on music, Trace never really got to spend time watching television. And when he did, he found all of the shows to be extremely idiotic and annoying, so he never really watched much which made his parents very happy. Although he does had to admit that he secretly enjoys the show Psych, he finds the ridiculous antics to be very funny, although he doesn't understand a lot of what they say.  He also really enjoys House MD, even though its a bit far fetched its a medical show after all.

• Anatomy. Trace is extremely knowledgeable about the parts of the body and their different functions. He can correctly identify all of the different parts.
  
• Making clovers with his tongue. Trace is able to roll his tongue in such a way, that it looks like a clover. He's always been able to do this, although he finds it to be extremely odd. He does not get why people find this to be unique or interesting, he thinks it's weird.
  
• Music. Trace is extremely gifted musically, he can sing, play the guitar, play the piano, banjo, alto and tenor saxophone as well as the trumpet.
  

Powers:

• Immunity. Trace is immune to common ailments such as colds, and strep throat. He has never gotten either of these, its not really a power but he has the ability. This does not protect him from any major diseases such as bronchitis or say cancer.
  
• Increased self-healing. Trace heals at about fifty percent faster than the average human, when it comes to things such as broken bones, cuts and sprains.
  
• Vitakinesis. The ability to heal wounds and injuries. Trace is able to heal minor wounds without much difficulty, these so called minor wounds include things such as cuts, and minor sprains. He can heal about ten of these a day, without much difficulty although it makes him tired. When it comes to healing breaks, he can heal about five a day depending on where the break is. When he does this it makes him very tired and he has to wait a while before using his powers again. He can also speed up the healing process of illinesses and major wounds, but he can only speed it up a few days. He can do this only once a day, and when he does he passes out.
  

Weapons: Trace fights with what appears to be your average bow and arrows, but really is quite a lot fancier. First off, his is not the wooden bow, he has one of the high tech bows, painted a nice gold color. His bow is voice activated, so only he can use it. Not to mention it comes complete with a quiver full of a variety of arrows. [do I need a weapons perk? i have a ton of them.]

Brief History: there was a point where caroline davies was happy with her life, but that's before she met a tall dark and handsome stranger in a bar and her life turned upside down. it was supposed to be a one night stand, she never thought she'd get pregnant. but she did and her mystery man left, leaving her to take care of their child.

and a child was more than she bargained for especially such a problematic one. she can't even count how many times she'd have to stay up all night telling him that it would be okay, or how many jobs she lost because she couldn't keep her eyes open.

when riley was eight years old his mother finally had enough of staying up all night holding her son as he screamed. so she made up a story about this big wonderful trip that they were going on, and after he packed a suitcase she left him outside of a police station. from there life was hell for riley davies, he was constantly moving from home to home never staying more than a week because no one wanted to deal with the boy who screams at night.

finally when riley was on his twelfth foster home, riley finally found a friend a boy named charlie. for once in his life riley felt accepted, wanted. but it turns out that charlie was actually a centaur sent to bring riley to camp half-blood.
Physical Appearance: riley has chocolate brown hair and a big pair of wide eyes to match. he tries to keep his hair cut short but occasionally he forgets to get it cut and it will take on a scruffy appearance. usually he tries to style his hair, giving it the perfect messy look. although riley appears to be rather tall and lanky, he only stands at about five feet and ten inches. he's extremely clumsy, and often when he walks he ends up stumbling or tripping. it's almost like he's tripping over his own feet.
Personality: riley is a very sweet boy, not that most people get the chance because of the stigma attached to him no one wants to know him. otherwise they'd realize that he couldn't hurt a fly. he's extremely compassionate, and all he wants is the best for those around him even if that means avoiding them.

on the outside, riley is a very quite and timid person. if people start walking towards him he takes steps to avoid them, he keeps his head down and he avoids talking to people. he doesn't want to get involved because it will end up with someone getting hurt.
Fatal Flaw: he's too negative- he has a hard time being positive he sees the bad in everything.
Talents: night terrors- it's not much of a power, but since he's a child of icelos it's natural. he's been plagued with terrible nightmares ever since he's a child and no matter what he can't prevent them. they don't come every night so it leaves him terrified to fall asleep. he's also discovered that his presense can influence people's dreams- causing them to experience night terrors of their own.
