Sutton was bored. She had realized that right after she come back from breakfast in the Mess Hall. Most of the demigods in cabin two were still at breakfast or doing something at the beach. It was bright, sunny day with not a cloud in sight. She wouldn't be surprised if most of the campers were at the beach or went to a pool off campus. Everyone had something to do except her.

Sutton had finally decided, after an hour and a half of doing absolutely nothing, to go off campus. She didn't know what she was going to do exactly maybe go into the city, but it was better than sitting in her cabin. She was wearing a regular t-shirt, a pair of high waisted jean shorts, and her grey converse. She had left her curly locks alone, not even bothering to tame them. On her way off campus she stopped at the courtyard. There was barely anyone there. Only a few younger campers playing a game of soccer, Just as she was about to leave, she noticed a boy sitting alone. Naturally, she wouldn't have cared and just left him alone. But watching him by himself made her think of herself earlier that day.

Sutton took a seat next to the boy on the bench. At first she didn't know what to say, she wasn't used to just walking up to someone and start talking to them. She turned to face the boy before saying, "I'm Sutton." After that, she quickly turned her gaze toward the soccer game to avoid eye contact with him.
