Angelica Castillo, Daughter of Athena
Angelica was just sitting at the table, reading her favourite book, "Scorpio Race". She has been reading it twice already. Unusually, today was the day she turns twelve years old, February 4. She was wearing her sleeveless top, covered with a red and blue flannel. She was also wearing her brown boots and her jeans.
Unusually today, the Mess Hall was silent. The daughter of Athena can only hear the sound of her favourite book's pages being flipped. She curled her blonde-ish hair as she continue reading. There's nothing to do today, just reading Scorpio race. The demigod thought. She looked around to see if anyone was near her. She would go back to reading. For a while, she got bored. She closed her book and sighed deeply. Again, she looked around. Maybe if I get to know with someone, then I could finally have a friend. Angelica thought. She stayed silent, she just stared at the apple she bit on the plate, unfinished.

Pulling the sweatshirt over her plaid shirt and banking her boots on, Taylor Monroe headed down to the Mess Hall for lunch. Her stomach grumbled as she looked forward to food. She had not been to breakfast that morning, so she was starving. Her belly ached with every step she took towards the Mess Hall. Relief flooded through her as she started to fill her plate with food.
Taylor looked around her and blinked in surprise. Barely anyone sat in the Mess Hall today. She shrugged, people were probably busy with the search groups and what not. She looked around and noticed that no one she knew was there, so she walked up to one of the girls sitting alone with a book. Kid of Athena, probably. She cleared her throat to get the girl's attention.
"Um, hi," Taylor said awkwardly, "Is it alright if I sit her with you." She did not do very well with public interaction, particularly with people she did not know at all. She only hoped she did not screw anything up.

Angelica Castillo, Daughter of Athena
As she stared at the plate for a few moments. Suddenly, she saw a shadow in front of her. She looked up and she saw the girl. She was light blonde, with blue eyes. Other than that, she seems to be pale. The girl was wearing a sweatshirt, mainly with the caption "Brighton Beach".
She asked if she can sit with the daughter of Athena. This would be my chance to have a friend, probably. Angelica thought. "U-uh, yeah s-sure." She answered. The demigod already thought that she's already blowing the chance to talk to someone. Sure, she's very friendly, but shyness always take cover in her personality.
Angelica reached for her book and started to read again, but this time, she felt awkward. This is a rare time that someone talked to her. All she do is to read books. Few seconds passed, she decided to speak up. "S-so, what's your name?" Angelica asked, slowly putting her book on the table. When will I stop stuttering? She thought to herself.
