I sighed. Thank gods, I couldn't take another year of camp being a friendless loner. Jared seems nice -- in a non-annoying way. I smiled a crooked smile and muttered "Thanks."

"Nice smile." I flashed her my own crooked smile. "I got my smile like this when my sister Roxanne hit me with a lightning bolt after I sent dead people after her with knives." I started to laugh.
