Tessa Traverse
Tessa's nose was cherry red as she retraced faded footprints in the snow, keeping her finger-less gloves hidden in her jacket's pockets. Most other demigods were keeping warm or training, which is what she should've been doing, but she wanted to avoid the bratty members of her cabin. It was only a natural response after all, how long can one stand someone singing 'the best song ever' repeatedly for hours? The demigod found out it wasn't very long for her. After informing the thirteen year old female that she needed to find something else to sing - rather rudely, of course - Tessa had escaped to the brisk thirty degree weather.
The daughter of Persephone didn't mind the cold, after all, it was much warmer than it was in Toronto. Remembering her past, a rather permanent frown fixated on her face, tightening her neck muscles. The sun shone clearly in the afternoon light, reflecting brightly off of the snowfall. Part of Tessa felt bad for messing up the perfect blanket with each step she took. Despite her anger, she felt herself relaxing as she neared the climbing wall, a frown still etched into her lips.
No one dared to climb the structure in the winter; it would probably be suicide to attempt to do that anyways, so she just looked up at it. Tessa's dark eyes skimmed over bridges and ledges, finding little interest in the structures. A sound caused her to tense back up. "I don't suppose you're going to climb," she commented casually, the corner of her lips forming a smirk. She spun on her heel, turning to face the other figure, expecting a demigod. outfit bby

basil vaslek
harsh wind blew the trail of basil's scarf backwards. huffing, he wrapped the scarf tightly around himself and snuggled into it. it smelled of cinnamon apple from the candle he'd been burning all morning. christmas was around the corner and basil couldn't wait. he'd already decorated his bunk with fairy lights and set up a mini tree on his nightstand. the headphones around his neck emitted classic christmas songs as he hummed along and sung a few words. basil kicked up piles of snow as he walked, basically ruining his velvet oxfords and the soaking the wool socks underneath.
he tugged hard on the flaps of his hat, pulling them closer around his ears. if he'd of been smart he would have remember with bring gloves but, here he was with frost bitten finger tips that were slowly going numb. out of the corner of his eye basil caught sight of a girl. he jogged up next to the other demigod, breathing heavily as his throat went raw from the cold. as she spoke a smirk formed on basil lips. "is that a challenge?" basil looked down at her, his eyebrows raising playfully.

Flexing her fingers inside of her warm pockets, the girl observed the figure in front of her. The fact that he was obviously taller than her made her uncomfortable, so she straightened her shoulders in a vain attempt to even out the height between them. Mirroring the boy's smirk, she cast a look at the wall. "Maybe," she mused softly, the smirk on her face growing into a playful grin. She couldn't see any ice on the bridges or ledges, but she would've accepted the challenge either way.
Raising an eyebrow she replied, "Race ya to the top?" There was a mischievous glint in her eyes as she laughed, backing up towards the wall. Placing a hand on the first hold, she turned back to look at the boy, hoping he would reciprocate her stupidity. outfit bby
