Louise Reed ; the boss

Talents/Passtimes: Lou is extremely strong from all the training she went through as a soldier. If you ever need someone to carry a crate full of ammunition for half a mile, Lou is your girl. She has excellent physical endurance and she considers this one of her most prominent skills. She is also good at many things a girl from the twenties would have been taught. Her mother taught her how to sew, cook, and garden. Her father wanted her to be well rounded so he taught her carpentry, good speaking skills and mathematics.

Weapon: A 4 ft long celestial bronze sword that whenever she kills a monster adds another tally on the blade. She also built herself a chariot that depicts a fight between herself and Hitler on the side.
History: The year is 1943. Louise Reed is the Reed families only child left. Both her older brothers were killed in action. She chops all her hair off, binds her breasts with cloth and puts on her uniform. Louise Reed hops on the back of the truck, waving goodbye to her parents, and heaving her rucksack over her shoulder. She's going to kill Hitler.

She becomes her platoons leader and, a great one at that. She goes by Louis Reed and this is her life now. She pushes the Germans advances back and sees enough bloodshed for a lifetime. Her platoon is the highest ranked and the most reliable. People call them storm troopers, as they crush Germans and Italians alike.

After nine months serving, she is given a holiday period. This lasts for two weeks, while one of her fellow soldiers takes her spot as leader. Louise doesn't want to visit her family because she knows she'll be tempted to stay with them. Instead, she travels to a casino with the other soldiers on holiday. She stays there for years while, it only feels like hours.

The year is 2005. A young girl, who calls herself Ophelia, taps her on the shoulder. Ophelia starts to explain the situation to Louise, telling her about the Lotus Casino, and Camp Half Blood. Louise is confused but, follows her anyway. Ophelia and her partner, Garnet, were in charge of bringing Louise to camp. Together, they travel across the country, back to New York and Louise is suddenly in the modern world.

Physical Appearance: Lou looks like a druggie. Her skin is as pale as moonlight, showing just how small and hollow some parts of her body are. Her body resembles that of a skeleton, with protruding ribs and slim, bony hands. Don't get her wrong though, she is very strong from her years in the war. Her thighs are all muscle and the only part of her body that doesn't look ghastly. Her shoulders are somewhat broad, with thick deltoid, tricep and bicep muscles.

Other than her limbs, Lou has a very bony face structure. She has a square jaw line, with strong cheek bones and a broad forehead. Her eyebrows don't have much of an arch to them, they're more rounded where most are sharp. Her eyes are hazel, but could pass as light brown. They skin surrounding her eyes has a purplish tint to it, most likely from Lou staying up some nights because of nightmares.

Her nose is round and small, with a slim bridge. Lou doesn't wear a lot of make up but, when she does she make her lips the most exciting part. Her upper lip is relatively thin but, larger than an average girls' while, her bottom lip is plump and stands out amongst her other facial features. Most often, her lips are chapped, and bare of any product that might keep them from doing so.

One thing that does particularly like about the modern age is, their obsession with colored hair. Lou dyes her hair often. Sometimes it lavender, rose, white, or other pastel colors. Currently, she is sport a "I bleached this a while ago but, my dark brown roots are coming in and I don't have enough money to fix it" kind of look. Lou's wardrobe consists of hoodies, tees, leggings, and other clothes that allow for the most movement. Her favorite place to shop is Lululemon because they have so much athletic clothing.

Personality: Lou is natural-born leader. She embodies the gifts of charisma and confidence, and projects authority in a way that draws crowds together behind a common goal. But Lou is characterized by an often ruthless level of rationality, using her drive, determination and sharp mind to achieve whatever end she's set for herself. If there's anything Lou loves, it's a good challenge, big or small, and she firmly believes that given enough time and resources, she can achieve any goal. Her ability to think strategically and hold a long-term focus while executing each step of her plans with determination and precision makes Lou a powerful leader. This determination is often a self-fulfilling prophecy, as she pushes her goals through with sheer willpower where others might give up and move on, and her extroverted nature means she is likely to push everyone else right along with her, achieving spectacular results in the process.

At the negotiating table, be it in a corporate environment or buying a car, she is dominant, relentless, and unforgiving. This isn't because Lou is coldhearted or vicious per se - it's more that she genuinely enjoys the challenge, the battle of wits, the repartee that comes from this environment, and if the other side can't keep up, that's no reason for Lou to fold on her own core tenet of ultimate victory. The underlying thought running through Lou's mind might be something like "I don't care if you call me an insensitive b****, as long as I remain an efficient b****".

If there's anyone Lou respects, it's someone who is able to stand up to her intellectually, who is able to act with a precision and quality equal to their own. She has a particular skill in recognizing the talents of others, and this helps in both her team-building efforts (since no one, no matter how brilliant, can do everything alone), and to keep Lou from displaying too much arrogance and condescension. However, she also has a particular skill in calling out others' failures with a chilling degree of insensitivity, and this is where Lou really starts to run into trouble.

To Lou, emotional displays are displays of weakness, and it's easy to make enemies with this approach - she will do well to remember that she absolutely depends on having a functioning team, not just to achieve her goals, but for her validation and feedback as well, something Lou is, curiously, very sensitive to.

As in most aspects of her life, in friendship Lou seeks personal growth and inspiration, and she often has a plan for how to accomplish it. Friendships of circumstance, built on things like shared routines, are not Lou's preferred method - rather, she pursues her friends, seeks out individuals who share her passion for deep, meaningful discussions, and who enjoy learning and development as much as she does.

It is not always easy to be Lou's friend - she demands a lot from relationships - but she pays a great deal of attention to her friendships, and it is unlikely that it will ever feel stagnant. Physical Appearance: Aya has long, loose locks of strawberry and chestnut. Her natural, thick hair flows over her shoulders and stops just past her breasts. Most often her hair is worn down, sometimes with a few braids here and there and some flowers weaved into them. Aya has warm, fawn-beige skin with olive undertones. Her skin is smooth and adorned with millions of hazelnut freckles. Aya has thick, structured eyebrows that are dark brown. Her eyes are amber, where brown meets orange meets black. They're lined with a flare of lashes and occasionally, some brown liner. Her nose is of average size, with a rounded tip and slim bridge. Aya has plump, oval lips of a dusty rose color.

Aya stands are 5'9" with long, slim legs. She is very insecure about her height, and often her body shape. She has a tiny waist with curvy hips and a flat stomach. She has thick thighs; these are what she appreciates the most. Aya often highlights her long legs and thick thighs with thigh-high socks and high waisted skirts. Aya's style consists of comfortable clothing but, mostly jumpers and soft socks. If she had a signature outfit it would probably be an ugly sweater, paired with a high-waisted black skirt, some thigh-high socks and flats.

History: Luca was born and raised in New York City. His father was well off and they lived happily in a three bedroom apartment. He was a good, smart kid with lots of potential. Adrian knew that from the moment that Luca picked up his first book that he was going to be an avid reader. Where some other young boys would have asked for action figures, Luca begged for books. Reading and writing became his life by the age of nine. This happened to be the same year his younger brother, Emilio, was born.

When Emilio turned three he was diagnosed with leukemia. Adrian started to struggle with paying the hospital bills. Luca was thirteen when he started busting tables for extra money. His brother was dying and they needed $12,000 for a surgery so, he applied all over their neighborhood. Eventually, combining Adrian and Luca's savings, they had enough to pay for the surgery. There was a 50/50 chance that Emilio could die but, he survived.

When Luca turned fifteen, he was bombarded at school by a burly girl wearing armor. She shoved him into her car, drove back to his apartment, told him to pack, then spoke to his father over the phone. Adrian and Athena had spoken before about the  "summer camp" she wanted Luca to attend so, he was completely okay with what the girl proposed. The burly girl took Luca to camp and he's been there ever since.
Physical Appearance: Luca has dark brown hair, silky and tousled. It's cinnamon scent is recognizable by anyone who has passed by him before. His hairline parts just a bit past the start of his left brow. He often wears his hair in a small bun or just leaves it tousled and bedhead-like. Luca has an average-sized forehead. Small scars lay near the corner of his face where acne use to be. His eyebrows are thick and long, though kept tame due to Luca's need to trim and pluck them. His eyes are small but, full of emotion. They are  the black-flecked deep brown of pecan shells. His lashes are thin and far out, and mostly cannot be seen. His nose is refined. It has a curvy, rounded tip with a straight and slim bridge. His cheeks are freckled, with pronounced bones and become a dark rose when uncomfortable. Luca has full, dusty rose lips that are always smiling. When kissed, they will probably taste most like strawberries due to his need to always have chapstick with him. His face is rounded, with a strong jawline. On his jawline and mustache area, he is sporting a bit of stubble.

Luca has a tall, shapely body. He is 6'1" and weighs 196lbs. Though, most of that weight is muscle. And even with all that muscle, he still manages to make himself look small. It's not that he crouches or has bad posture, he just doesn't like to take up much room. He doesn't want to feel like a burden to he kinda pulls himself in and keeps all his limbs close together. This makes him look a tinier than he actually is whereas, if he stood up he'd probably tower over you. Luca has silver rod piercing above his hip bones. He also has collarbone piercing which, when nervous, he likes to role his finger tips over.

Luca's style is very "hipster". He wears a lot of sweaters and skinny jeans, mostly with flat skate shoes or some type of boot. If it's too warm for a sweater, he is seen wearing button up shirts.
Personality: Luca is full of passion and charisma. He radiates authenticity, concern, and altruism. He finds it easy to communicate with others, especially in person. Luca is a true team player, and he recognizes that that means listening to other peoples' opinions, even when they contradict his own. He is receptive to dissent, so long as it remains constructive. The one thing that bothers Luca the most is the idea of letting down a person or cause he believes in. If it's possible, he can always be relied on to see the conflict through. Charm and popularity are qualities he has clearly. He instinctively knows how to keep peoples attention, and sense mood in ways that allow him to communicate with reason, emotion, passion, restraint - whatever the situation calls for. Uniting these qualities is Luca's adamant desire to do good in and for his community, be it in camp or globally. Warm and selfless, he genuinely believes that if he can just bring people together, he can do a world of good. More than seeking authority himself, Luca ends up in leadership roles at the request of others, cheered on by the many people who admire his strong personality and optimism.

Luca can bury himself in his hopeful promises, feeling others' problems as his own and striving hard to meet his word. If he isn't careful, he can spread himself too thin, and be left unable to help anyone. He is able to take criticism but, sometimes it get to him. His sensitivity to others means that he sometimes feels problems that aren't his own and tries to fix things he can't fix, worrying if is is doing enough. History: Sabine's life a pretty easy when she was younger. There was no flames engulfing her house or monsters trying to kill her family. Her mother, Flavia, had a steady job as a secretary and was able to provide for the two of them. Sab attended day care close to her mother's work. She spent her days coloring and playing games. She was safe for now but, no one could have ever dreamed of what was to happen to her later in life.

As she grew, Sab's demigod abilities became much more prominent. By the age of seven she was already tinkering with phones and radios. Her ADHD and Dyslexia also started to show. School became difficult for her. She struggled to concentrate in any subject but math. Math came easily to her. She liked the complexity of it, and how it had many rules. You could never screw up if you remembered the rules. Her mother started to notice the ADHD and Dyslexia and got her tested. After the tests came up positive, Flavia made Sab move schools. So, she started to attend to "hands on" school. She hated this idea at first but, once she got settled into her classes, she began to feel more at home than she did at her old school. Auto class was her favorite. She fixed and tinkered with cars all class, something she loved very much. Her life was changing for the better until the fire.

It was late at night when her kitchen caught fire. Sab was sitting in the next room over, watching some stupid horror movie. The smoke alarm didn't go off but, she sure did smell the fire. The oven and part of the cupboards were already engulfed when Sab saw the open beer bottles. Her mother had been going through a tough time at work lately, so she'd resorted to drinking. When the fire was too big for her to even enter the kitchen, Sab ran outside. Luckily, her mother was working late that night. Half of the house was engulfed in flames before the fire department showed up.

Things went downhill from there. Weeks after the fire there was a break in, then a month later their basement flooded. Suddenly, their money was disappearing. There were too many repairs to be done and they couldn't pay the bills. It was 6 months after the fire when her mother was killed. Flavia was taking the subway home from work at 3am, which in itself is bad idea. It's an even worse idea when you have the scent of your demigod daughter on you. There were only 2 other people in the subway car when she walked on. As they rode on, one of the 2 men kept scooting closer to her. They were only 5 minutes away from her stop when the men changed into his true form. The manticore charged at Flavia, pinning her against the window. Flavia suffered but, died within ten minutes of the attack. When the subway reached her stop, the manticore ran out, searching for Sab's home.

Before the beast reached her, a satyr had reached her. The satyr escorted her to camp, and she's been there ever since.
Physical Appearance: Sab has a very rustic look to her. Her hair is light brown and reaches mid-breast. It tangles easily so, sometimes she wears it in a really messy bun. Her eyes are a much darker shade of brown than her hair. The dark brown, almost black, accentuates her light hair. Sab has very french, olive skin. She often breaks out in acne from spending too much time in the forge.

From spending so much time there, she's built up quite the muscle. Her biceps are thick, along with her thighs and calves from training. Her waist is slim but, her hips are a bit bigger. Sab is curvy, which is a good look on a girl who is 5'6". Her style consists of tees, leggings, hoodies, sweatpants, and shorts. Most of her clothes are either athletic material or sweatshirt material.
Personality: Sab loves to explore with her hands and her eyes, touching and examining the world around her with spirited curiosity. She is a natural maker, moving from project to project, learning from her environment as she goes. She finds no greater joy than getting her hands dirty pulling things apart and putting them back together.

Sab explores ideas through creating, troubleshooting, trial and error, and first-hand experience. while her mechanical tendencies may make her appear simple at a glance, she is actually quite difficult to interpret. friendly and physical but very private, calm but suddenly spontaneous, extremely curious but unable to stay focused on academic studies, Sab can be challenge to predict. She is like a river, calmly going with the flow - until some profound energy builds up to shift the valley that guides it.

The biggest issue Sab is likely to face is that she often acts preemptively, taking for granted her permissive nature and assuming others are the same. She'll be the first to tell an insensitive joke, get overly involved in someone else's project, roughhouse and play around, or suddenly change plans because something more interesting came up.

Sab has difficulty predicting emotional responses, which is ironically a very fair arrangement, given how difficult it is to predict Sab. She struggles with boundaries and guidelines, preferring the freedom to move about and color outside the lines if she needs to. She doesn't mind taking risks and can easily think on her feet. Crises do not really scare her. Though she is a big risk taker, she may often do it simply for the sake of having fun. For instance, she may escalate an argument with another camper just to see how they react.
Fatal Flaw: She struggles with boundaries and guidelines and often oversteps herself. She also is quite the risk taker.
Talents/Passtimes:  Being a daughter of Hephaestus, Sab is a skilled mechanic and blacksmith. She doesn't mind getting her hands dirty, she actually loves it. She mostly loves tinkering with things, and taking them apart just to put them back together again. Sab is also quite the amazing artist. Mostly, she sketches design plans but, sometimes while riding the subway she sketches strangers also. She's not very good at it yet but, Sab has taken up horse-back riding lately.
Powers: Sab has technokinesis. She is able to communicate with sentient machines both mentally and orally. She can do this quite often because it doesn't drain her much. She is also able to instantly understand how a mechanical devices works. What really drains Sab is when she tries to sense hidden mechanisms. This is similar to what Leo did in Minos' Mansion. She can only do this once a day and it drains her to the point of nausea and fatigue.

Personality: Jace enjoys pushing the limits and discovering areas that she has not yet explored, taking risks if necessary. She is more interested in what works or makes sense to her than what is permitted or expected by society. She loathes being constrained by rules and regulations. She does not mind taking risks and enjoys the rush of adrenaline. Jace may even take risks on purpose if she is bored.

She does not mince words and prefers direct, honest answers. She sees little point in mind games or social niceties. Jace can easily pick up on changes in someone’s habits or appearance, and she will always know how to use that information to connect to the other person. Powers: Jace has the ability to manipulate blood. This is an aspect of biokinesis she was blessed with thanks to her father. If she cuts her hand with her dagger, she can manipulate her own blood. Jace can make weapons out of it, solidify it, make it into a rope-like string and choke enemies, etc.  She also has the ability to adapt. For example, if she was about to drown, she would automatically adapt to her environment by developing gills so she could breathe. Both of these things drain her to the point of passing out. If she tries to adapt for too long it will lead to death.
