history: the year is 1943. louise reed is the reed families only child left. both her older brothers were killed in action. she chops all her hair off, binds her breasts with cloth and puts on her uniform. louise reed hops on the back of the truck, waving goodbye to her parents, and heaving her rucksack over her shoulder. she's going to kill hitler. she becomes her platoons leader and a great one at that. she is louis reed and this is her life now. she pushes the germans advances back and sees enough bloodshed for a lifetime. her platoon is the highest ranked and the most reliable. people call them storm troopers, as they crush germans and italians alike. after nine months serving, she is given a holiday period. this lasts for two weeks, while one of her fellow soldiers takes her spot as leader. louise doesn't want to visit her family because she knows she'll be tempted to stay with them. instead she travels to a casino with the other soldiers on holiday. she stays there for years while, it only feels like hours. the year is 2005. a young girl, who calls herself ophelia, taps her on the shoulder. ophelia starts to explain the situation to louise, telling her about the lotus casino, and camp half blood. louise is confused but, follows her anyway. ophelia and her partner, garnet, were in charge of bringing louise to camp. together, they travel across the country, back new york and louise is suddenly in the modern world.

physical appearance: begonia has very elfish features. their hair is a brown, tousled mess that captures combs. their dark brown eyes contrast with their pale, freckled skin. begonia has soft, plump lips that are a rosy pink color. their nose is a bit bigger compare to other features on their face. begonia is so very tiny. they are only 4'11" and weigh very little also. they tend to wear dresses most often and have a love hate relationship with jeans. begonia has a slight obsession with cardigans and oversized sweaters so, you'll see them wearing them often.

history: baz grew up very wealthy. he knew from a young age that his mother was invovled in a shady business. she always had greasy, shify men over for drinks. baz knew that these men despised her, that they were here for a different reason. sometimes anastasia would disappear for a couple days but, she always came back with a bag of money and some presents for him. baz was fourteen when he decided he was going to study at the library after school without telling her. he came home later that night to find all of their house staff in the foyer. a disgruntled-looking man came pounding down the stairs accompanied by a frail old woman. they stopped in front of baz, who by now, was shouting and demanding to be told what was happening. the man led him into the tv room and sat him on the couch. baz could barely breath when the man informed him of his mothers murder. he barely felt it when the tears started. he dragged his feet up the stairs, towards his mothers bedroom. her body, hacked into pieces, was hanging from the cieling by wires. baz passed out and when he woke up he was in a car on his way to camp half blood.

history: cal was born to a very wealthy mother. she was a successful marine biologist and won many awards in her trade. cal never knew much about her. he did know that she was always looking very sad, and she took a lot of pills. cal stayed with his grandparents farely often. his mother would pack him an overnight bag and drop him off at their house. cal loved his mother and his grandparents very much so, when his mother committed suicide it was a shock to him. didn't she love him? why would she leave him if she loved him? cal struggled with this mindset for many years before realizing that she had her own troubles. also that it wasn't his fault, she loved him but, she was very unhappy and didn't want to be here anymore. after his mother's death, cal was shipped off to his grandparents house, which he didn't mind much. they spent most of their time watching movies. all kinds of movies, this is probably where cal's dream of becoming an actor came from. the rest of cal's childhood was rather uneventful. he went to a regular public school, was quite popular and was part of many sports teams. everything changed when he turns fourteen. he had just arrived home from school and was eating some cereal when there was a knock on the door. his grandfather answered it, only to be met with multiple stab wounds to the chest and abdomen. his grandmother shrieked, diving for cal and dragging him upstairs, into their bedroom and locking the door. she opened the attic door that was located in their closet and shoved cal up into it. his grandmother made sure to cover up the door, putting a stack of blankets under it. the men came busting into the room and it wasn't long before cal was covering his ears to tune out his grandmothers bloodcurdling screams as metal penetrated her flesh. the men searched the house for him after but, never found him. a satyr came rushing in after a few hours, taking him out of the attic and to camp half blood. since arriving at camp, cal has made many friends. he even had a girlfriend, anna shauk. it was good and he was happy but, everything took a turn for the worst after the zombie apocalypse. cal ditched camp and hid out in an abandoned warehouse for two months until he thought it was safe to go back. so, here was are, with cal standing on half blood hill, with no doubt, an angry girlfriend and concerned friends.

history: aya was born in royal oak, michigan. she grew up in the center of the city surrounded by department stores and highways. aya spent most of her time in their backyard. she loved the trees and playing in the grass. most of her life consisted of concrete and the sound of cars zipping past their front lawn. aya's school life was pretty normal. her best friend was named morgan. they played on the baseball team together and still keep in touch. as far as Morgan knows, aya was sent to live at her aunt's home across the country. aya was bullied in elementary school but, never in high school. the "popular" kids ignored her and she ignored them. it was a good few years. except for grade nine. that was the year her father re-married. the woman was named karen. all around, she was nice lady but, aya had trouble accepting that her father had another girl in the house who he also had to pay attention to. aya arrived at Camp Half Blood in the summer of 2013. her father had found a brochure in his mailbox for a summer camp for young adults. aya thought it sounded cool and signed up. little did she know that she was signing up for something more dangerous than she'd anticipated.


personality: aya is known for being very gentle and kind. she resembles a baby deer in the way she is very petite and timid. most people who know her would describe her to be very down to earth and compassionate. she likes nature and plants quite a lot. one things that turns aya's stomach is the thought of being in a largely crowded area. her anxiety kicks in and she starts to hyperventilate. often, aya would take days off school or ask her father to pick her up because her social anxiety was uncontrollable. she feels uncomfortable in large buildings like malls or movie theaters. aya is also a vegetarian.

mortal family: caroline penn is a middle class, social worker who is mother to three children: ashley, carter and sara penn. she gave birth to ash when she was twenty one. caroline married a man named joshua williams when she was in her late twenties. carter was born a year later, with sara coming two years after.  ash was very excited to be an older sister and now she spoils her little siblings. caroline and joshua had a difficult time accepting that ash was bisexual. they've tried to refrain from using homophobic slurs and racial slurs(which ash is trying to ease them away from) but, it doesn't look very promising.

history: ash was born in seattle, washington on november twentieth. her mother, caroline, nearly died giving birth to her. apollo was present for her birth but, left her and her mother after three months. caroline firmly believes he was kidnapped and has stuck to that story for all her life. ash went to a very small but, diverse elementary school. she was one of the only white girls in her class. this helped her become a more accepting, humane person towards people of different cultures, unlike her parents. ash's mother is an in-the-closet racist. she makes racist jokes and often uses racial slurs, although she has no idea how offensive they are. ash tried to educate her mother on this from a young age on different cultures. this became an increasingly worse problem as ash grew older. especially when she came out as bisexual to her parents. ash was twelve when she told her parents she was bisexual. she'd had a crush on a girl at school named teagan and that was when she realized. caroline and joshua refused to believe her; telling her she was confused, experimenting, and would constantly hint at her getting a boyfriend. ash felt like she was unwelcome in her own home. everything took an unexpected turn when she snuck out to go to the pride festival with teagan. while they were walking around, talking to different people and taking pictures together, ash grabbed hold of teagan's hand. they were together for three weeks before ash was taken to camp half blood. ash remembers those three weeks fondly. they were filled with weekends spent at teagan's house, cuddling and watch horrible action movies, and  taking trips to barnes & noble and reading together while cuddling(aka ash's idea of heaven). it all came to an end when a satyr showed up on ash's front yard, screaming her name. ash went to see who it was but, when she opened the door the satyr barged in and ran up to her bedroom, packed her luggage and they were off. ash tried to contact teagan but, either camp's phone service didn't work for seattle or, she was ignoring her. since she arrived at camp, ash hasn't been very close to anyone. she hasn't made very many friends, and the ones she has are more of aquaintances than actual friends.


personality:ash is an isfj personality type. though having the feeling trait, she has excellant analytical abilities. she is introverted but, has well-developed people skills and robust social relationships. she is the juding type but, is often receptive to change and new ideas. she is a true altruist, meeting kindness with kindness-in-excess. she engages the work and people she believes in with enthusiam and generosity. she is meticulous to the point of perfectionism but, often procrastinates. even though she procratinates, she can always be relied on to get the job done. ash takes her responsiblities personally, exceeding expectations. she often lets her kindness get the better of her and other people step all over her. she needs to know when to say no and stand up for herself if she wants to maintain her confidence and enthusiasm. her ability to connect with others on an intimate level, and the joy she experiences in using those connections to maintain support and happiness is a gift for everyone involved. she may never be truly comfortable in the spotlight, and may feel guilty taking due credit for team efforts, but if she can ensure that her efforts are recognized, ash is likely to feel a level of satisfaction in what she does. she is a universal helper, sharing her knowledge, experience, time and energy with anyone who needs it, and all the more so with friends and family. she is very imaginative, and uses this quality as an accessory to empathy, observing others' emotional states and seeing things from their perspective.
