Fatal Flaw: Tony is a very empathetic and compassionate person. Those seem like good qualities, and most of the time they are. However, Tony is way too trusting of other people. He believes that everyone’s nice like him and won’t doublecross or backstab him. He’ll babble secrets he shouldn’t, gives sensitive information to people who probably shouldn’t know about it, and just has a really carefree attitude about everything, even important things. He easily puts faith in people. He trusts too much.
Pets: Tony has a cat named Bogart. He’s a black cat, with white paws like mittens. He’s owned that feline since he was eleven. They’ve been through quite a lot together, so naturally Tony brought him along to camp. Bogart’s changed from a indoor cat living in a Boston apartment to a free roaming outdoor cat that rarely returns to his home. He’ll come by Tony’s cabin every few days or so to get food, but other than that he’s off wandering. Tony’s had to hunt down the cat many times.
Talents: Tony has quite a few talents, despite the fact that he doesn’t consider himself gifted. In school he always excelled in English, French, and maths. He’s got a very keen memory, so he has always done well academically. Besides academics, Tony’s main passion is music. His father taught him how to piano when he was young, and he’s been playing ever since. He loved music, and he began to explore many different it age instruments. At age seven he began to play cello. At age nine, he started trumpet. At age ten, he learned guitar and drums. His father always supported his son’s interest in music, since it was once a dream of his own. Tony, on top of playing a variety of instruments, is an amazingly talented vocalist. He would always sing when he played music, but it didn’t really become his main focus until he started writing songs on guitar. It was around sixth grade when he really discovered his love of singing. He began to practice more and more, writing an innumerable amount of songs. He would play at open mic nights in cafes, post covers of his favorite songs on the internet. He plans on being a musician once out of high school.
Since arriving at Camp Half Blood, Tony’s fighting skills have improved immensely. He’s excellent with daggers and throwing knives. He often will just walk around the woods, throwing blades at trees for practice. And though he may be scrawny, he’s also very good at hand-to-hand combat. The one place where his skills are lacking is defense. He doesn’t use a shield, and he’s better off sneaking around and keeping distance than running right up to an enemy.
Year-Round or Summer: Tony first attended camp with the intention to only stay for the summer. His mother was only a muse, so he didn’t get much attention from monsters. Over the few months he spent there, he began to appreciate the camp and it’s inhabitants far more than he appreciated his prep school back him. He explained this to his father one evening after he had returned. Harrison was greatly disappointed that his son was going to give up his private, and expensive, education, but he agreed to let him stay at camp for the second semester of that year. Tony lived at Camp Half Blood for those several months, and also a great deal of his summer. He asked his father if he could stay there once again, and Harrison reluctantly agreed. Tony now lives at camp year round, going home to Boston for the holidays and sometimes weekends.
