Camp Half Blood is the sister site of Camp Jupiter.
The wooden door swung open, and David entered into his room. The smell of pine wafted by his nose, a pleasant greeting. Having spent the past five minutes in his brother's dorm room was enough to make him never want to go there again. It smelled like Chris's dirty clothes, and to say it was messy was an understatement. He felt sorry for whoever had to bunk with his brother. However, David's own personal room was heavenly in comparison. It was much less messy, and had a clear organized taste. Not to mention nice frequently-vacuumed carpet, and pine candles.
David padded over to his bed and sat on the mattress. He bent over and untied his shoes. His bed had nice black sheets and comforter to go along with the color scheme of the entire room. On the wall opposite of his bed, he had a large tilted desk with a lamp bent over it where he would work hours composing his music. Beside the desk was a filing cabinet for all of his sheet music. Beside that was a walk-in closet that held an array of clothes that David had collected over the years from lots of shopping with his father's money. It wasn't like he was stealing his father's money, but his dad literally paid David and Chris every month to not come home and stay at camp. His dad was rich as hell, anyway, so it didn't matter to David.
As soon as David had gotten his shoes off, he strode over to his closet and placed them on a shelf, neatly aligned with two other pairs. It was still appalling to David that he had been elected as Cabin Leader. He hadn't even been in camp for very long. He had seen that not many people were running, but it was still a little surprising to him. He was glad he was picked. Sure, it had it's obvious benefits. Getting to boss around his pain-in-the-neck brother, and getting a room for himself. But he, although unknowingly, kind of deserved it. He adhered to the rules of the camp, was loving to all the campers, and was hated by few. His sunny disposition was definitely what the campers needed as of late, and he never faltered to be a good citizen. Of course, David did not think this of himself. He always thought that he was a little overzealous and could be a pain, but he didn't know that in reality he was universally loved.
Walking out of the closet, David looked around his room. His computer was placed at the foot of his bed, along with a lamp and an electronic piano. David went to the desk and sat in the chair. He swiveled it around a little, being easily amused. Then, he clicked the computer on and began to surf youtube for amazing classical pieces, his search for things he has not heard continuing.
