Welsey, Son of Athena makes it to Camp Half-Blood

I ran quickly down the road. I saw a hill and I turned, glancing nervously over my shoulder for those...things 'There has to be a logical explanation for this...chimera's don't exist. It's...Greek Mythology!' I thought frantically. I watched it curiously, seeing it had a bit of trouble turning quickly in the pouring rain. I made a sharp turn as I ran up the hill. I looked at the sigh at the top, seeing it said 'Camp-Half Blood' My stormy gray eyes widened. 'B-But I can't read greek! That's not one of the languages I've studied!' I silently screamed. I felt as though I was going crazy. As though all of my logic and science was slipping through my fingers. I felt a sting in my leg and I winced. I grabbed a nearby fallen branch and banged the chimera on the head that had grabbed my ankle. I quickly recoiled and I ran, ignoring the pain that throbbed through my left leg. I made it past the sign and the single pine tree on the hill. I glanced over my shoulder to see the chimera hiss angrily before it stalked away out of sight. It was then I noticed that now...it wasn't raining. I looked up, still seeing the stormy clouds. "H-How's this possible! I'm going crazy!" I screamed angrily, clutching my head in frustration. I then felt a wave of pain through my leg and looked down at my bloody ankle. I winced, running my hand over my wet hair. My breathing slowed a bit as I looked around. 'What is this place?' I thought. My name is Wesley Matthew Harrison and what I didn't know was that I was a son of Athena.

Was-sup?' i asked the boy standing there... "New here... Oh that looks like it hurts, you need to get the infirmary, do you think you can walk?" i ask uncapping my water bottle, and pulled out the contents. Get through the gate while i finish off the chimera." i said, freezing the water into a ( http://ifightrobots.com/images/prince_symbol.jpg ) repicla of my fathers weapon.

I stood there, completely baffled. "Um....uh..." I stuttered. My Australian accent was thick as I spoke, just as i always was. I looked down at my ankle, shaking my head. "Um...yeah I can walk," I said after a while. My social awkwardness taking over once again.

Yeah so Tell me about yourself... do you like books?" i asked as my water weapon was torn apart, and then morphed into a constrictor snake. ice hardening into scales, large teeth sank into his skin, as he transformed from constrictor to viper. "Book smart or street smart?Hey kid i'm talking here!" i shout over the roaring pain of the chimera.

I watched him curiously. "Um...did you know that there are 206 bones in the adult human body, but 300 in children?" I managed to spit out. I then sighed, burying my head in my hands. "...Yeah...I like books," I said after a moment.

Hey good to know, so battle adults more then children, less broken bones!" i said smirking... I finally finished off the chimera. "Sorry 'bout him, names Mac, son of Pontus... you know who your parent is?"

I frowned. "...My dad's name is Carl. I never knew my mom," I answered. I heard the name Pontus, easily recognizing it from my studies. However, my social awkwardness kept me from asking.

I seen two guys I didn't know, I run switly over that way, I looked at the monster then back at the two, "New guy" I pointed at the bloody one. I sighed, I turned towards the monster suddenly it had ten arrows in it, I looked and seen Lexis siitting in the boader, I bored expression she kept shooting at it, It ran off. I sigh. "Who ya"

I stood in silence for a moment, trying to think of something to say as though just my name wasn't enough. After a bit I sighed, running my hand through my still wet hair. "Wesley Harrison.." I answered. I then pointed up to the dark sky and then to the rain outside of the border. "How is it that it's not raining in here? Judging by the direction of the wind throse cumulonimbus clouds should be heading north west, which is directly over this camp. And yet not a single drop has landed. It doesn't make sense! Do you have some kind of scientific, clear forcefield that keeps percipitation out?" I asked. Whenever I was talking about science, I was able to babble on and on. But anything else...not so much.

I smiled, had to be Athena, the Aussie accent made his little rant sound funny, "This is a camp with magic bouders so it does'nt rain unless one of the strong Zeus kids does something or, one of the diratorss wants it to" I smiled, "Call me crazy and I'll show yea a very crazy preson, by the way, I'm Colby daughter of Nyx"

I shook my head. "T-There's no such thing as magic! There's a scientific explination for everything," I protested.

"Ok, the oylpian gods made a border, and it keeps monsters," I said the word slower "and weather out of camp" I smiled. I pulled out a tiny pocket knife like one you open boxes with, but with two sides, "And this is something feared by monsters and some demigods" I smiled wickly.

I blinked, astounded. "So wait...you said you're a 'Daughter of Nyx'? So then what does that make me?" I asked, sounding slightly skeptical.

"I'd say Athena, but I'm not sure, you were kinda slow on that...." I ointed, a joking tone to my voice

I rubbed my temples with my index fingers and shut my stormy gray eyes tightly. "Processing...takes a minute," I said simply.

I sighed, bent down and thumped his forhead, "You are a strange lil kid,.... Here, closeing your eyes to think, can and will get you killed" I held up the short pocket knife, "Kills monsters, what ya got?" I asked

I stared at her a moment. "Nothing...unless knowledge counts," I responded shyly.

I opened my knife and a 3 foot long sword poped out, with gold indents and a nick in the blade, the hilt had three dark, navyblue diamonds in it. Nothing in my expression changed, "Depends, how many bones does'nt help, but how to avoid getting all the bones smached does" I said smiling

I jumped back at the sight if the sword. "How did.....but......that's......." I stuttered. I swayed a bit before I fainted from the shock if everything. As I lay fainted and woozey a bronze owl appeared above my head as Athena claimed me as get son. Too bad I wasn't actually able to see it.

I frowned, "I think I scared him, well I ain't carring him" I frowned and sat down. I got bored and whistle one long loud whistle.

I slowly regained my composure and I sat up. I looked over to see Colbh and I cried a bit on the inside. 'It wasn't a dream,' I silently whined.

I looked over at him and fliched, "Er... sorry" I whistled twice to short beeps. then looked back at him, I made my sword back into the small pocket knife

I shook my head. "I'm going crazy," I muttered sadly. "I know geniuses are crazy sometimes, but I'm only 13! My craziness isn't supposed to set in until i'm in my fourties!" I protested.

I walked in the wind blowing through me straight blonde hair. I looked at Colby, "Is the hottie new?" I asked glancing at Wesley. We'd probably have to prove it and I'd call Daniel. He was quite, convincing, painfully.
