Summer Belle ~ Daughter of Athena
Two of us. I'm the cool one And I'm Summer, no Winter
Summer has been at camp for a long time and she still sees as if she is a newcomer. She will get ready for her daily walk and when she does walk its like she is taking herself on tour. She has her little notepad and two pencils and a pen. Winter always makes fun if her because she acts like she might get lost and never find her way back. Summer likes to ignore Winter most the time, so she just goes on with what she is doing. On a day like this she wore jeans with some fray, a shirt she bought because she thought it was unique, and a pair of black and white shoes. Summer walked right out of her cabin and took her walk. As she was walking Winter jogged after her and gave her her necklace. "Oh my gosh. Thanks! I forgot it." Winter just smiled and walked away. Summer was the more jumpy one out of them.
Summer knew where she wanted to go and she finally made her way in...... in........ in... the....... library.... Yes Summer's second favorite place was the library. Her first is the beach, but anyway.. yes she liked reading. Summer walked around saying hello to everyone and they just said it back or gave he a look like she is way to happy to be here. she found a table where no one was sitting yet. She started grabbing book left and right, different colors like yellow, orange, blue, silver, black, even café, grabbing different sized books small to big one. After she was done. She had about the whole table filled up with books. "Excuse me miss, but do you really need all those books? I mean you're never going to finish them." some girl probably running the library today, told Summer. Summer started laughing really hard and all she heard was Shhhh from the people.
Summer finally stopped still a smile on her face "It never hurts to try, and all of these are books I really like, or books that might of spoke to me..." she made a funny scared face "But I'm guessing that's why the book is called" she picked up the book showing it "This voices inside my head." she used her creepy voice. The girl gave her a weird look and walked away. "Hope to see you soon." she thought fora second. "She is so going to be my friend of the day." she told herself. She then started reading the book she had in her hand. In about an hour she finished it "THAT'S HOW IT ENDS!" she yelled. Again she heard Shhhhhhhh "Yeah. Shhhhhhh. People are trying to read." she blamed a little boy that just walked in laughing. He looked confused and smiled whispering to him "Thank you."
She stayed in the library reading for now four hours. Summer closed her seventh book she read still excited for the next book. She saw that her table was still full. She grabbed the seven books and started carrying them to put them away. Once she got up from her chair the books feel. She looked at the girl in charge again "That wasn't me. I think the library has ghost. Or people..." she stopped talking once the girl walked away. "Okay. We'll hang out later." she laughed. She grabbed the books and when she turned around she bumped into someone. All the books fell on her and she sat up "Well that knocked some sense in me." she said rubbing her head. She looked at the person whose the jumped into "Sorry, that I bumped into you." she said to their legs. "Ohh, so you didn't fall?" she asked. It must be someone bigger than her if they didn't fall and she did.

Kasey had been watching this girl for a couple hours now as she read, and she had taken a liking to her. The girl was obviously someone from Athena--surely nobody else would read that many books all at once, and so fast. Kasey liked the Athena cabin. They were quirky, yet they knew when it was appropriate to be quiet. And while this girl occasionally blurted out little exclamations, Kasey knew it was just because she got lost in her books. Kasey could be the same way, but she hadn't been pleasure reading for hours and hours, although she would like to. No, she was researching different methods for maintaining the well-being of strawberries. It wasn't exactly exciting, per se, but she was interested in stuff like that. Typical Demeter kid.
Kasey got up after the Athena girl went to put her read books away, just so she could stalk her down the aisles and see what she had been reading. Also to say hi, since she had the feeling they'd get along well. She followed her and tried to suppress her laughter after all the snide remarks the girl had made. Kasey's plan was to stay invisible like a ninja and then tap the girl on the shoulder when she knew what to say, but that plan didn't work out so great when the girl turned around and ran into her, falling on the ground and spilling her books everywhere.
Of course, Kasey's first reaction was to laugh when the girl asked if she had fallen. "No, you fell," she said. "I'm so sorry. Let me help you."
She started collecting the books from the ground, paying no attention to the titles, as she had forgotten that she wanted to know what the girl was reading. "My name's Kasey. What's yours?"

Summer Belle ~ Daughter of Athena

Summer fixed herself before she started grabbing her books. She saw the girl and she looked like she was twelve. The little girl helped her and Summer was happy that it wasn't some jerk who would've kicked the books. "Thank you." She stood up taking the books from the girl. "Nice name. I'm Summer. " She said walking to go put the books down. Summer put two books, but she saw two more books she liked. "Hold these. The ones I give you are the new one." she put the two books on the girls arms. She then put the rest of the books back getting three more books. She then took the other books from the Kasey. 'Thank you." She said walking back to the table.
Summer grabbed a second chair for Kasey and set in next to hers. "Do you read?" she asked Kasey. She finally sat down grabbing some books Kasey might be interested in. She showed her the books with a smile on her face "I like all of them, but my favorite one is. Well they all are!" She laughed. She then grabbed another book showing it to her "But, if you want to learn about animals read this book." she told her.

Kasey allowed herself to be reinvented as the human bookshelf while the girl, Summer, browsed for books. She followed her back to the table and sat down next to her, and then examined the books Summer said she should read.
"Of course I read," Kasey said with a little laugh. "I hate those people who say they don't read. It's so annoying. But I came here to research how to grow strawberries, 'cause the field is getting a little out of shape, and it's my cabin's job to fix it most of the time. I mean, it can be pretty ugly work sometimes. Like, it's so hot, and the plants can be prickly, but it's so rewarding--"
Kasey felt a presence behind her and turned around. The librarian was standing there glowering at her for babbling. "Do you ladies want to take this outside?" the librarian pushed.
"Uh," Kasey stuttered. She had always been afraid of authority. As a demigod, it was pretty much implanted in her brain that authority was bad and she should always stay away from it. "No, ma'am," she finally said after being stunned for a couple seconds.
"Then I suggest," she said, "you two pipe down."
Embarrassed, Kasey turned back to the books in front of her and grabbed the one about animals. Non-fiction wasn't exactly her favorite (only if it was about plants, of course), but she didn't want to get in trouble again. Her face felt hot as she nervously pretended to be deeply interested in the book to cover up her embarrassment. Great, she thought, I probably ruined my chance of being friends with this girl. I guess she was way too old anyway.

Summer listened to Kasey "But I came here to research how to grow strawberries, 'cause the field is getting a little out of shape, and it's my cabin's job to fix it most of the time. I mean, it can be pretty ugly work sometimes. Like, it's so hot, and the plants can be prickly, but it's so rewarding--" Summer than shouted "Demeter!" she said. She knew it was either Demeter or it was her little half sister. Summer smiled hoping she was right, and not wrong. Summer then heard a voice and looked at the girl in charge. "Hey girl. I knew we would get to talk." She smiled and then her smile went to a frown.
Summer glared at her and then smiled. "I heard that it's really hot, and I really don't want to." She heard the girl speak "Then I suggest, you two pipe down." Summer nodded and as she walked away she rolled her eyes "What a monster she is." she said. She looked at Kasey and smiled. "Hey, we're having a good time, don't let her stop that." Summer told her. "So I was right about your parent?" she asked

Kasey watched the librarian (rather grumpily) walk away. "Oh, yeah," she replied. "Quite correct. And you have to be Athena. Like, why would you not be? You're so...interesting."
And correct Kasey was. Athena kids were interesting and always had some knowledge to share, just like Summer. She liked hanging around those kids for those reasons, ever since she had first come to camp. She actually thought she might be one of them until she met the Demeter cabin, where they taught her how the beauty of nature and how to care for plants. Then she knew that that was where she belonged. It wasnt a while until she was actually claimed, but when she was, nobody seemed surprised.

Summer chuckled at her words saying she was interesting "Thank you. And yes I am the daughter of Athena." Summer told Kasey. Summer got up for a few seconds then grabbed the book Kasey wanted. She brought it back and handed it to her. "There you go." she told her. Summer started gathering her books "Ready to check out?" she asked her. Summer just felt like leavening the library right now because the person right now was just rude. Summer would have fun with the others, but this librarian was just an ass. She walked over and checked out her books without talking to the woman and then waited for Kasey to check out the books she wanted.

Kasey had planned on spending the entire day in the library, sitting at the tables and reading, but it was clear to her that Summer had other things in mind. She eyed her stack--which was a decent size, yet seemed dismal in comparison to her new friend's--and collected her various gardening books. She followed Summer to the checkout and went through the same motions without so much as a "hello" to the librarian, and walked out of the grand doors of the library. Once they were on the library platform outside, Kasey faced the girl. "So, what now?" she asked.
